These are the SE version. Great headphones great price but don't be put off when they come in cheap enviro packaging. Matt black in colour is the only diffidence between these and the non SE. Heat added

I’d not be too keen on dealing with that seller to be honest, firstly company not based in Switzerland as claimed, account based in Australia and more likely trading from Hong Kong. Hiding your real location is not a good indicator. Not a great feedback history either for a organisation with only 1,600 trades. Reading negative feedback it’s predominantly delivery issues. Hope it goes okay for you but if you receive goods check carefully for the possibility of it being a fake. Unfortunately Sennheiser are one of many premium brands that suffer at the hands of the counterfeit community.

Also looking at their description page, Quote: International Buyers - Please Note:

  • Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
  • Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
  • These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipment charges.

Sorry to be a prophet of doom but you have to be so careful with international sales and in particular eBay.

Paid £65 for b stock, arrived looking brand new

hotukdeals.com/dea…566
I had these for a couple of months before selling. Whilst they sound great and the noise cancelling is "ok", I didn't get on with the memory foam ear pads. They were quite uncomfortable when wearing for a long time and made for some sweaty ears.

Personally I would recommend trying them on first as I wished I went for the similar priced Sony's instead. Much more comfortable and much better noise cancellation. (I ended up selling these anyway and got a pair of Sony 1000xm3 instead).

Great price nonetheless.

Where and when?
i do not remember it was after Black friday around 79, not ebay though or maybe it was the 4.4 as in

I do not see much difference
The size of these fool you. Be warned.

Apart from the fact the 4.40s don't have noise cancelling
I have these and for my small noggin incl smallish ears they fit quite well and don't look overly big compared to the Bose i tried out. Be warned that if you have big ears they may be uncomfortable due to the pads having a relatively small opening for the ears to fit in.
There are better headphones out there for noise cancelling but at this price point they are decent and also don't sound too bad either.

Maybe perhaps you might have seen a different model for less. Nice one.
As far as I know, aptX isn't supported on iPhone, and older android devices. on a Mac you may need to manually install the aptX codec and sometimes force it's use.
So these headphones will default back to the poor sound quality and high latency SBC codex on iPhone as I can't see any mention of support for the AAC codex.
If you're listening to lossless audio files, you'll probably want to invest in different headphones with the aptX-HD standard to keep all the music detail, as aptX will compress the music down slightly.

To be fair if you're listening to lossless you're better of with wired 'phones anyway.

Thanks, had ordered as I read they did support aac but turns out the don’t
Bought these just before Xmas might send them back. The sound quality is not what I’d thought it would be. Anyone compared these with Sony 1000XM3?
Yup these are not really aimed at lossless source material, they run in aptX for me on my S9 which is more than adequate for the times I use them.
I also have some cheap as chips anc headphones which have better anc but the actual music quality is a step down which is to be expected so for the current price of these with above average anc combined with decent sound (in my opinion) is a decent deal.

You can't really compare these to the 1000XM3 to be fair as they are in a different price range and quality bracket

True! I should have listened to a few before buying

True! I should have listened to a few before buying

I knew what I was buying only because I tried a few and a) didn't want to spend over £100 ideally but I was prepared to spend the money for Bose QC 35 or 1000XM3, b) have decent sound and anc (subjective I know) and c) they needed to not be too big for my peanut head and as much as I liked the Bose/Sony they were frigging huge on my head.
Hence I ended up with these as I also use my Galaxy buds and for the money I am happy but for yourself nip down to PCWorld etc and try some out so you have an informed decision before sending them back.

I think I will before I send them back. Been playing with the EQ on Spotify managed to get something I’m happy with now.

Yup if you tweak with the EQ settings you can get a half decent sound profile, I downloaded the sennheiser captune apk (no longer available on the play store but available else where) which is useful for tweaking the sound profile as it is also a media player.

Hehe it'd be easy to tell if they're fakes; there is no way the forger's could spell "Sennheiser" correctly!

(Edit: I spelt Sennheiser incorrectly!)

Consider yourself warned!
I bought the 4.40 BT version for a family member over christmas (Same size as these).

I knew about the small foam pads and after some research bought these:

amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

About 10 minutes of fiddling around and they fit, and the headphones still fold! (And comfier!)

One of the originals for reference:39514314-V2D03.jpg
Mine arrived about an hour ago. I like them a lot. I've had a few Sennheiser headphones in my time and these are the first Bluetooth ones I've bought. They sync up well with my Huawei Mate 20X and sound pretty good. I've yet to give them a decent try on a phone call, but my main use will be for music anyway. Wierd listening to Rush Tom Sawyer - Atmos version on Tidal. Sounds good but almost like a different track. Great bass, worth every penny (so far) that I paid.
Thanks OP.

As per my previous comment. I had these and sold them. I then got the 1000xm3. The Sony's blow these away for comfort, sound and noise cancellation. But then the Sonys are also usually £200 to £270 ish.
I recently bought the 4.40 & was very disappointed with the sound. With wires they were at best OK, but on Bluetooth they were like a £10-00 set. So had to send them back. I had no idea how much sound quality is lost on Bluetooth.

What was the source device? Keep in mind there are different standards which can have a massive effect on sound quality.

It may be worth checking this link to determine what version your Macbook has. Since it's new it should be one of the later versions which means it should at least support aptx:
