Quite pi**ed off considering I've used them once and paid £69.99
These would let the idiots who run at max volume to hear their headphone through their bobble hats, share their **** music with everyone in summer. Yay.

It would just be nice to have some open backs they can drive sufficiently, as I prefer them over closed back HPs personally. The comments in response to mine seem to be from a person who likes to give "advice" for the sake of it, and then gets upset when they're not praised for said "advice"...

You haven't used these headphones. I have. I know how easy they are to drive. I don't care about praise but your attitude to my comments stinks.

Stop projecting. You're on HUKD's.

'projecting' lmao

Bet you're a barrel of laughs on a night out...

These are getting cheaper and cheaper Great deal!
These are really good for both gaming and music. I own the Audio Technica M50x and I tend to use these more often than that👌

Open headphones are generally better for music. Miles may vary of course

I don't like open back headphones, you can only use them when nobody is around.

If it's from the Amazon deal like where I got mine from, then Amazon's Christmas returns until the end of January still stands! The question is whether I'm cheap enough to do that haha. I've used it quite a lot.

Fyi I use it for gaming mainly and occasionally listening to orchestral music - it's absolutely amazing for both. Can't recommend enough. It was a steal at 70 quid when it was last on offer, so at this price it's a no-brainer.

If you've only bought them within the past 14 days buy them again and take the "new" ones back to get your £69.99 refunded. Just a thought.
So what are these like to say a classic 598?
Really good price, doubt you'll manage much better in the price range.
Nearly bought these the other day + a mod mic, ended up buying something different altogether. Wish I didn't now NIce spot

They sound good for the price. Nothing special. I didn't find them comfortable though.

Actually... NICER one... My post for the 350 SE gaming headset has dropped another £5 too, updated that. Cheers again. Even more annoyed I didn't wait a few days now

Was in a quandary really. I have a 2013 Astro A40 headset with Mixamp which has been feeling it big time in the last 10 months or so. I didn't want to buy another headset at full whack and was messing around during the eBay 20% off promo, so missed the boat. Ended up finding a new Astro headset for £30 on eBay (without accs or mic) Just bought that and it is as good as new and as far as I an tell unused. Was covered in the factory plastics still as well.

Had my heart set on a Senns set though, but wanted to use the Mixamp with it, and being unsure of the positioning of the bands on the 3.5mm jack, I backed out. Not a total loss, but would have snapped something up if they were this price. Poss the 350SE as it's the 2015 Jack version and not the USB. Ahh well, am happy enough

I also have the audio technica ath-m50x and the sennheiser hd595.

I tend to find the audio technica are better for bass heavy music, or when you want to keep the sound inside and completely isolate yourself.

The sennheiser destroy the audio technica when it comes to clarity. If you want to hear every detail, they are good. Not to mention very comfortable.
Using these with the Dolby Atmos app on Xbox One X and they sound amazing. Very comfortable too. Absolute steal at this price
I have the 518 which I bought on Amazon for £49.99 January 2016 a sweet pair of headphones £115 now!!

Exactly why I was just like “WHAAAAAAT?” when I saw the price and then was disappointed they were not closed or over-ear. Voted hot anyways because Sennheisers are awesome.
Thanks, ordered!
Wow, great price! Just went down to my local Argos and bagged a pair!

Been keeping my eye out for a good deal on some Senn HD 5 series cans for a while, but didn't want to spend too much as I already own good headphones, DT 990 Pro's.
The only downside to my 990's is i need to use an amp, but with these it should be fine without one!

Heat!!
Screaming hot deal. These are 10 minutes with a screwdriver away from the £170 HD599.
Voted hot as astonishing value although I bought them at £69.99
I was considering selling mine as they don't meet the audio quality I was hoping. Interesting tho' how they compare to Grado 325

Could you please provide a little more information as I'm very interested
They sound awful, I took them back at £70 deal.

I reckon the grado will be far better in all aspects. ....you cant beat them.... they even beat my senn Hd 580

We're not talking a huge change here. If you listen to a song on unmodified 579s and modified 579s, there isn't hardly any difference to the overall sound signature.

Dont be mad. These are normally £120+. That's still a very good deal. This current deal is kind of ridiculous and I'm not exactly sure what's going on. These line of headphones go on sale relatively frequently, but even the £70 sale was pretty incredible. £53 is stupid good.

Also on sale at this price on Amazon Fresh, if you have that in your area.

Comparing with Grado's is a *bit* apples and oranges. Both open-back, but Grado's have a fairly characterful sound that is simply 'different' to many others, especially to these which are less colorful(purposefully).
Semi-open back
I bought a pair at £69.99 and although they are not bad I was a little underwelmed by them. At this price they are worth buying though.
Shame they're not lower impedence or I'd of grabbed a pair to use with the PS4.

50ohms is too high for the dualshock 4, unless you like your volume low.

It's not all about the impedance. The AKG 240S are 55 ohms but so much harder to drive than these. The Sennheiser HD 600's are 300 ohms but not that much harder to drive than the AKG's.
