NIce find!!!!!

Great price. Would love to upgrade my old 590's, but really shouldn't

Nice price, but I only recently bought the HD-555's :-(

OMG HOT HOT HOT + R!
How come!
Only if I did not buy Denons recently

I've got a pair of these bought around 5 years ago for the same money - not a great deal, they've always been around this price, if you can find them - they sound great, but being open backed let a lot of sound into the environment - so if you're buying them to listen to your stereo whilst the wife watches Eastenders forget it - if you however want them to listen to your music loud so the neighbours can't hear, then they are great sound for the money

That was supposed to be a Prima Aprilis joke, right?

Hot Hot Hot!!!

EDIT: I've got the HD 650's and they're great. I use them for TV, movies and music of course! I've read many reviews of both headphones and many reviewers say that the neutral sound of the HD 600's gives a more authentic feel to whatever you're listening to compared with the 'coloured' sound of the HD 650's. If I never had the HD 650's I'd buy these pronto! That said, I'm still tempted to buy them anyway :-D

Absolute bargain , one of the best headphones on the market .

awesome deal i bought these when they were 169.99 a few months back use them on my ps3 awesome sound

These are a great can at a great price but you need a decent headphone amp to get the best out of them.

iPod owners need not apply.

Why expired ?

this is a really good deal why expired

Why is this expired? Great deal. I have just purchased a pair of Denon AH-D1001's and very happy with them at the moment but I would love to audtion a pair of these just to see how they compare. Great find, have some heat buddy.

Excellent price OP! This sells on Amazon ]for £205! This is scorching!

sooooo tempted

SMOKING HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deal is still alive....

Great cans.

Treat yourself for Easter :-D

Hot deal.

Is there anything remotely portable I could match these to to deliver winning noise to my ears?

I don't fancy lying in bed listening to my amp. The amp is about 15 metres away from my bedroom for starters...

Have you tried super cheap Koss Porta Pro, or Sennheiser PX100?

Ohh.. noo!!! I am so tempted to upgrade my HD 595... but I can't really justify it... yet

Awesome deal. Surely this is going to go out of stock very fast.

One of the best headphones in the world, however too will need a good amp to pair it with.

OK! I justified it! (that was quick! :P)

If these won't be much better than my current HD 595, I will just sell them on ebay with profit

I really hate this site..

BTW: I have got Claro Halo sound card, which I hope will be enough to drive them.

I hate it too.

NOTE! If you do not have a headphone amplifier, you will not hear the difference, htey will probably sound even worse than HD595!

theres some of these used on ebay for £123 with £12 delivery and 2 days left (item number 250605573434) this is a really good deal is it a mistake by play i dont see them sellin them for this u could easily make a profit

Yeah, I am aware of that. That was the reason I got HD 595 instead of HD 650 some time ago, when I haven't got any decent amp (about two yeas ago you cold get HD650 for about 130 quid).

However, at the moment I believe my Claro Halo should be OK for them (time will tell  )

Used these for djing. Excellent cans.

Smoking hot - ordered a pair!

I'm not so sure what your point is here. Is it an anagram of 'dedrater ma I'?

This place is terrible man, just bought the HD 595 for 69.99 from play, Should I cancel and go for this instead???

I am not sure what is your point here? I was giving a genuine advice. The phones I mentioned are second to none in their price range. I have got Denon AH-D2000 and these are driven very well straight from Sony Walkman or Archos 5, if you do not mind the size, go for these!

YES - but only if you have a dedicated Headphone Amp, otherwise the HD 595 will be better for you.

Right.

I want these, but I was asking whether there would be a portable device of a music providing nature that would be able to spunk tunes into these headphones for my aural pleasure while semi--dormant.

Go for both, then Ebay the ones you don't like.
You should still turn in a profit.

My HD580's were getting a bit tired, great find. Ordered.

Wow, as a relatively open design I am shocked! They are more about the quality reproduction as opposed to high volume and blocking external noise!

I bought a paid 8 years ago for the same money. They are marvellous cans but there is a proviso. Just like you wont get close to the best out of £5k speakers if you plug them into a mini hifi system, you cannot expect to get the best out of these headphones plugged into a standard headphone socket! Most consumer equipment with a headphone socket will make use of a headphone amp costing a couple of pounds or less, so there is no gain in using £200 phones with them as opposed to a half decent pair which can be had for £50. So do yourself a favour, go and buy a headphone amp (same sort of money as the phones), it is a sad waste otherwise!

The answer is "No".
You might try with a little FiiO E5, but still 300Ohm is a lot to drive.

Use a headphone extension lead if your system is on other side of room or move your bed closer
