The Cans are what you expect for the price, in my opinion nothing more than that. Otherwise invest in a good £50+ pair. Hopefully some of you (not audiophiles) will enjoy them for this price.

"Nothing more than that" I disagree, from what I've heard they sound as good as some £30 cans. They really are best you can get for less than £20 BY A MILLION MILES. Good price

I have these and for a tenner they are great, can't be beat at that price.

Anyone know the length of wire? thanks

I think it's just a nickname for their looks... they are commonly referred to as cans.

are these built well? ive bought many headphones before and they always snap. never tried this brand.

Thanks OP, ordered. Just what I was looking for.

The reviews look good. Sennheiser are a very good make, one of the best there is.

Sennheiser are a top brand when it comes to headphones!

Apart from their lime green sport range, I think all of their products are top notch. I use the CX 300's on my ipod and have NEVER been dissapointed. Stuff and T3 magazine also mention how good the CX 300's are.

I know these are not CX 300's but it should give you an idea of what the brand is like.

Go for them!

thanks. gona order now:thumbsup:

gud headphone but not a rele a red hot deal they normally go 4 this price in the 1st place.

ordered. thanks op.

Sennheiser are a top brand, yes, but they're also a manufacturer that has a ranger of products that range from low quality to very high quality.

I.e. their top end headphones, the ones that you'd have to pay £200+ as a minimum for, are excellent, but their lower end ones are only slightly better than the competition. Ultimately, they are just as liable to break as any other pair of "low cost" headphones.

I liked these when I heard them but I preferred the eH150's which are a little more at £15.45 but IMO sound better than the 201s or even the 202s.

They are £15.45 here at Amazon: ]http//ww…4NB

price is always around this (i got my pair for £8) so not voted hot, good headphones though

Just wondering, where from?

I've had a pair of £20 sennys for years now, tenuous I know but I'd recommend these on that basis.

Thanks OP.

I have just bought these to replace a pair of Sennheiser HD202s, which I have had for a couple of years(ish). They were brilliant and only died due to abuse...including falling asleep in them and waking up tangled in cable! Anyway, if I have to fork out £5 a year for cans that's fine with me. If these are anything like the 202s I'll be delighted. H&R added.

Hot from me for £10. Not need to sound in/no picking up all imperfections in the source and 10th of what you‘d normally pay :). I use these sometimes when my Beyers 250 (80 ohm) are engaged. Cannot comment on quality - no point really for the price. Light enough but can be considered comfortable only if you have a small head and flat ears. Not good enough to sit through a movie in my opinion. Can spoil a good source/equipment, but for most of casual users are very hot. Even if you are spoiled is quite acceptable to have them as a backup/wife-use pair.

These headphones were posted on here months and months back at something like £9.95, that's when I ordered them and they're one of my best purchases ever. Absolutely amazing value for money. The headphones are really good quality, they're like £50+ cans. Very good build, good long cord, absolute BARGAIN at £10.13.

Heat added.

Didn't find the answer to your question but came across this:

At the risk of sounding like a train spotter, it's quite interesting!!

How good are these at cancelling out noise? Like from a plane?

The ones in the OP i mean.

The ones in the pic just above? Rubbish!!!

(stevey, that was a sneaky edit! )

I got these for £12 when they were last on HUKD and found that they were terrible! They had absolutely no base.. I compared them to a battered old pair of headphones I got years ago for about 20 quid and they sounded exactly the same. They are pretty basic but feel fairly comfortable to wear.

I sent mine back and will be spending more than a tenner on my next pair!

I have a pair of these - spent way more than a tenner on them - definitely worth it!

Awesome sound, as many reviews confirm. I believe the cable is 3m long - certainly much longer than I need for my radio work. It comes with an adapter so you can plug it into more professional equipment too.

Kamizuri - Maybe you got a duff pair? The bass is awesome on mine.

You're gonna regret buying this pair of cans despite the glowing reviews. Yes the sounds are clear but theres absolutely 0 bass on these. ZERO. NADA. Thats a lot to say coming from someone who dislikes bass.

Its also not very comfortable as its a very plasticky construction. I gave mine away after burning them in, it takes a lot for me to be annoyed at something but this pair of cans are just not worth the money, even for 10 quid.

Buy the ksc75 or portapro for 7 quid more.

I agree about the bass being a bit off. Usually, it does music very well, but I have found that it performs badly with 8-bit sounds. Just in case you were going to use these with your NES or Gameboy. For the price, they are a definitely a good pair though. Heat+

nope, they worked, they just weren't particularly good. A good pair of headphones should make you think "holy ****! this music sounds great!" rather than just "meh"

Personally, between the HD201 and HD202, I prefer the HD202 for a fiver more (hotukdeals.com/ite…dph) but nothing beats my Denon AH-D2000 headphones, if you really want to invest in a pair of Can's.
