Can't praise my Sennheisers highly enough......they seem to get better if you break them in gently to loosen them up...hot deal.

These are brilliant - go buy them - bought then before Christmas at slightly more......

Nice find OP.8)

I think I saw this on one of the reviews but can anybody tell me offhand what length the cable for these speakers are??

Edit nevermind looks like the cable is 3 metres.

great thanks, ordered, see how these go

does anyone know if these feel comfortable or not?

I got these sony mdr xd200 headphones
and they are really tight on my head!

Wonder how above compares to the following (which has excellent feedback) :

Cosonic Black Multimedia Headphone With Microphone - 3.5mm Jack, 2 Metre Cable Length
£7.13

thanks, ordered.

great entry level heaphones - bought a set for my kids a couple of years ago - still working

Terrible headphones dont buy them the sound is awful

"Terrible headphones"? Let's get this straight: the HD201s are not high-end studio headphones. However, quite apart from them being a set that cost a little over a tenner, they sound bloody good in their own right, are light and reasonably comfortable, and are eminently practical. Astonishing value for money all round.

Excellent headphones and the sound is great.

You're in luck - I have a pair of the cosonic ones from ebuyer for skype, and have heard the sennheisers. (although own a different model, myself)

The cosonic ones are great value for the £6-£7 they usually go for on ebuyer, but aren't at their best for music listening. They do have reasonable bass response, so far better than the cheap headsets people usually go for, but they aren't the best clarity wise, and the sound fatigues after a while.

The sennheisers have perhaps a slightly muted bass response, but its definately there, and they're nice and clear all the way up through to the trebble. For £10, the sennheisers seem an unbeatable proposition.

They only reason you might pause for thought is if you're a real bass-head, (perhaps you listen to house/dance/trance) - in which case you will probably want to pay a touch more for something with some really meaty bass.

Ordered and heat added .Thankyou

To be fair though it depends how much of a chance he gave them, if he used them and decided they were terrible I could understand as mine initialy sounded quite poor, but that was because I had not burned them in, the longer I used them the better they sounded. 3 Years down the line and they still work, and for what I paid for them sound fantastic.

Ordered & heat added. My daughter will love them, cheers.

Has anyone had these for a long time, given then robust use and found them reliable?

I think there are plenty of comments about this on the previous page.

Bought these last year at £12. Good headphones, recommended.

great price, I bought mine for £17.99 and was happy at that price

ordered. thanks

My misses got me a pair of these for my birthday in November. £20 in Argos.
They are really nice, have great deep sound and a nice long (10ft) of line.
Get Them !!!

Does anyone know if these will fit over a pregnant belly need to get some for the wife so we can play tunes to the unborn!!

Thanks spheric

Anyone after sub £20 headphones really ought to get the Koss.

These Sennheisers will NOT stretch across a pregnant tummy, Oak99. Why not try one of the pillow speakers you can get cheaply at most auction sites that you may know of.

They seem to be £13.89 now

Gone up but still for the price they are incredible. Had mine for years and sound as crisp as they did on day 1 and relatively good for sound cancellation. Bought them primarily for competitive online gaming and a great budget set. Have also used these at the i-series LANs and work well there. For the price there's not much better. Comfortable, good sound and good environment noise cancellation. Good all-round set of cans and very cheap and were alot better than some set my friend spent 60-70 on for DJing.

In case anyone's confused there is no cancellation on these, just isolation.

Up to £15.57 now!

I have said before on here, Amazon prices can vary by the hour dending on demand, more people buying, the prices go up!

Why expired,just ordered at£10.99

back down to 10.99! yay!

I've got the HD205 and they're incredibly tight - to the point the cartilage in my ears starts to hurt. I've also got the RS160 and they're a much more comfortable fit.

I was considering buying these last week when they were £14 - Glad I didn't. Just ordered now. These usually retail at £13-14 from Amazon.

Got these today and I think they sound excellent, better than old pair of Sennheiser ones I've had for a few years that cost £50. Detailed sound with good bass and midrange. Heat added. Shame I paid £13.49 from amazon only last week.
