The HD201 are closed, dynamic headphones featuring extended, accurate response, impressive dynamic potential and remarkable comfort. The HD201 has an "over-the-ear," closed-back design that delivers outstanding attenuation of ambient noise, encouraging the wearer to become fully immersed in sound without undue distractions. This headphone features exceptionally smooth, natural, extended response. The HD201's low frequency extends to 21Hz and the HD215 to an amazing 12 Hz while both models perform to the upper limits of human hearing with ratings of 18kHz and 22kHz and deliver dynamic potential to spare for reproducing any musical style with real-world levels and impact, with SPL limits of 108dB and 112dB. So despite it's unusually lightweight, comfortable design, the HD201stands ready to create a true "high-end" personal listening experience, with the natural tonalities and impressive dynamic impact experienced listeners expect from any headphone carrying the Sennheiser name. And of course, the HD201 carry Sennheiser's two-year warranty.

Good price but don't expect top quality sound - had some of these for an electric piano and the sound is bit cheap..

Good price for very good value headphones!

Get the Logitech UE 4000 for £16 instead.

They are always this price so nothing special

3 meter long cable!

Not on Amazon, this is the lowest they have been for a year:

These are really decent entry-level headphones at a good price, but they've always been around this price.

Sennheiser

They haven't always been around this price....often closer to the £18-20 mark.

They arent very good headphones, very poor bass response, very tinny.

Excellent headphones for the price.

awful headphones. bought these the other week for a similar deal and I was truly disappointed, especially after reading so many positive Amazon reviews

What about noise reduction? Are they any good?

Pay a bit more and get the hd202's. For budget headphones.....they are amazing!!

I think they are great headphones for the price, clear and crisp. Maybe not great if you are expecting deep bass for r'n'b etc. but pretty good for the guitar based drivel that I seem to listen to.

What a silly comment. The price alone isn't what makes something a deal, the quality has a lot to do with it. the HD202's leave the 201's in the dirt, sound-wise. They're a better deal even though they're more expensive than an inferior product.

How's it silly. Spend more and get better quality is usually the case. These are/were just £12 and the 202's were £25. For someone looking to spend just over £10, the 202's are in a different league.
