I actually use a pair of grado ps1000s! which would def bomb on here if advertised as a deal - but these are pretty good for the money if you like a headphone with a fairly flat response
How much????

and that's the deal price?

Not voting either way, as maybe that is good for what they are, but if I was going to spend that much on audio I'd put the money into a surround sound system
I'll wait for play to drop the price of this baby down to £100 like they did for HD600 before I buy it, still miffed at play for cancelling my HD600 order. Hot as this is cheaper than on ebay
I'm not saying that these are bad headphones or anything, but I kind of doubt that people who buy these kinds of things actually get proper use out of it. Almost all of the music / sounds found on the internet or on disc-based media are compressed, so I can imagine that hardware as expensive as this isn't really required for that.
Great!!!!!!!

These wouldn't be much good on the tube either, they're open back so you'd be annoying the hell out of everyone else.
more annoying than full surrond system? lol get your point though ta for pointing that out.
Surprised by the comments. These are very neutral, open-backed headphones designed for professional audio engineers and for listening to high quality audio sources in quiet environments. It is unusual to find these headphones for under £320 and they used to cost almost £500. They are not designed for listening to mp3s on the tube. If the price on these seems steep at £180 then you don't need them.
