A great pair of headphones. Great range of accessories (1 long straight cable, 1 coiled, velour ear pads, really nice carrying case).

These are bass heavy, and at the RRP of 250, the M100 probably offer better listening quality, but at 160, these are a steal.

I've owned the HD8 DJs, and enjoyed them very much. I sent them back after a creaking problem (only common to HD8s after a search on forums a while back) and had them replaced with IE80s.

Ignore the review on these, as it's inaccurate (unless they're used to headphones with next to no bass). They're quite a dark sound, and don't offer the same sparkle most are probably used to with Sennheiser, but if you're not looking for that, then these are great.

Can prove to be a little uncomfortable after longer listening sessions (again, may be due to the HD8 being made of metal - these are plastic).

I'm all about that bass

They look solid. Sennheiser don't often have any bass! This must be 1 in a million

No Trifle

Most sennheiser high end phones are quite "dark", especially hd600 and 650.

That's because most people play them through a cr*p source. My hd600s played through the graham slee amp, are supreme.

These are dark even through a Fiio E07K.
