Better get HD700 refurbs from en-uk.sennheiser.com/outlet - last time we had a code which took them down to £220.

They sold 3 at £759. Damn

The studio in which the music was produced Pre 90's didn't have available the "quality" of these headphones, so what exactly are you hearing which the artist themselves couldn't hear which justifies the price.

I have no idea what your talking about.

Stunning headphones and a fantastic price compared to their RRP. The same people who complain about the price here wouldn't bat an eyelid if they went out at the weekend and spent £100 on booze. Or a PS4 game for £50 ... These are an investment and will last for years.

Useful to know.

Hmm. Reduced price and limited availability. Maybe these are about to be discontinued? Let's fill our trolleys while we can

Good spot by OP for right person.

I'm sure they look and sound amazing, but I wouldn't insure my ears for that much :-) .

I must admit even at this price they're out of my league but plenty of people buy them and this is a serious discount for such a buyer

Back up to £499 now and they didn't honour my order last time either. I bought 2 and after a week of preparing for dispatch they cancelled the order saying they were out of stock. Second time that's happened to me recently. Same with Phillips X2 a few weeks before!

PARDON!!!!!

Awesome deal for these, Just make sure you have at least the same twice again to spend on kit to get the best out of them :P I got the hd700s for a great price on here and am really happy with them. Never heard these but they should be fantastic

Don't get into the headphone hobby it gets worse!. You're going to need an amp to make these headphones work and they can cost just as much. Just enjoy listening to music rather than listening out for imperfections.

I stopped with the HD598's but the HD600's are tempting at times.

trust me mate. I don't think I have spent £700 combined in headphones in 38 yrs, so I got no intentions of changing the habit of a lifetime.

besides my hearing is sh1t these days.

voted hot for jokes... 700 quid for headphones?!

Some people spend that on a mobile phone, which goes out of date in 2 years!
As above, these would be an investment and should still be going strong 20 yrs later, like my old Sennheiserr hd580s and hd475s. You'd be crazy not to audition them against Stax and Grados though, to name but 2.

You pay for the best. That's like being surprised that a Ferrari 458 costs more than a Fiat Panda.

are you being serious? not quite sure.... but anyway these aren't really for those who are after "Netflix and chill" there meant for audiophiles and people/small businesses that want to produce very high level audio and need the equipment to monitor there content.

Considering the almost 500quid drop in price almost they are very cheap for being entirely 100% hand made in Germany.

These are totally amazing. They sound incredible. Needs an amp to really get loudness. The clearest I have ever heard with zero distortion.

Heat added - great headphones
