hot... alot more elsewhere..

very good price. have the IE6's abd they are excellent

I don't need them... I don't need them... I don't need them... I don't need them...

Very good price and the IE8s at £134.99 are very well priced too.

do i need them?? do i need them??

just realised the pic is a pic of the ie8's not ie7's.

can not tell the difference. lol

Needed some retail therapy so thought what the hell and went for the IE8s. Been thinking about them for months now and apart from that abortion of an Orange Accessories deal, this is the cheapest I have seen them.

ordered IE7s after reading lots of reviews - doesnt seem enough reason to buy IE8s over these, and IE7s often get a better overall sound rating anyway

From the reading up I have done the IE8s seem to generate a wider soundstage and offer richer bass. Two things I would like to benefit from but I must say I still nearly pitched for the 7s.

The main difference between these and other expensive earphones at about £170 by Shure and Etymotic etc is that they seem to produce a decent amount of bass. I had to get rid of my Shures for that reason. However, I upgraded to the Shure SE-530's which are the most amazing earphones ever. Bu they're also ridiculously expensive so not for everyone.

Seems like a really hot deal to me!

I want... I cant have

These are great sounding earphones.

I had the ie6 and if the build quality is the same they will fall to pieces within a year. You do have a warranty for two yewrs but beware you are likely to send off for replacement.

I only buy Sony now, found them to be far superior on sound and build quality.

arrrrrgh

too late voted cold, over priced just paying for a brand. don't be duped by consumer branding psychology. something like a soundmagic pl30 will do the job just aswell for half the price.

Before the brand whores start knocking me then have a read of the reviews and I expect the pl50s are just as good.

Decent price although, however bad Orange Accessories service was, they did actually sell these for £28 so not quite in the same league. Many people did actually get their IE7s and that to me was a true scorching deal when it came off. I got the IE6s for £24 which will do me.
However, this price as it stands now is the best there is so hot for a good pair of iems.

Not worth it, especially considering it's a brand that no-one's heard of. Get some Sony's at least then you're buying from a company that people know about

(....sorry, couldn't resist)

Any decent earphones with a microphone?

It's always worth checking Play's Sennheiser prices. I recently bought a pair of HD 595 headphones from them for £69.99 which normally retail for about £120 online.

i just checked play and did not see it at that price

Skull Candys are far cheaper than these! Also Skull Candys are the trend they are cool!!

Despite that I own these and they are top notch! Great SQ, I paid more than this for my pair. Get some fleebay bi-flanges and ditch the original ear hooks and get some Phonak Audeo ear hooks and your sorted!

I have never heard these so can not comment but the sound magic PL-30 are great . I got a pair for about £15 imported and was really impressed with them.

The prices of Sennheiser headphones seem to go up and down like share prices on Play, quite dramatically sometimes. I just got lucky but did keep checking every few days.

cool, just read a thread where the Senns HD600 were also £100 (shockingly cheap) since they are now £280 plus.

In 225 posts the IE7 isn't mentioned once. You would maybe need to leave an explanation of why you're speculating they're better.

Anyway, I've been looking for a pair of these cheap as I just want something fun sounding when I'm at the gym or work. I've been using the e-Q7 for the past few months, which are kind of in another echelon but I don't find the IE7 incomparable..
You get some good bass, treble and soundstage with the IE7, for this price I think they're pretty hot.

It almost sounds like you're slating them because they're a brand. They're a "brand" because of their successful history with headphones.

seconded. i bought a pair of HD-25s for around £110 on play where they retail at £150ish elsewhere. few weeks later the price was back up.

Can anyone comment on sound leakage? I commute so need to be able to turn the volume up without annoying everyone.

HOW MUCH ???????oO

There wont be much leakage at all, probably nothing at all if you have a proper seal.

X) I was indeed kidding, it's a bit of an in-joke on HUKD.

Over at HeadFi looks like folks are receiving these without the full set of accessories.

These headphones are now unavailable at the price stated in the OP.
