I have been waiting to treat myself to these for sometime - just been reduced from £179.99.

Hope this helps someone else.

This is my first post so don't go easy, beat me into shape if I'm off track

EDIT: WAS REDUCED TO £152.96 BY AMAZON DIRECT BUT AMAZON HAVE INCREASED PRICE TO £163.87 - OTHER SELLERS HAVE IT FOR LESS VIA AMAZON BUT I'D RATHER BUY DIRECT FROM AMAZON

best wishes

I've spent a number of squids on speakers for the cinema system at home - and spend 2 hours a day listening to headphones on the iPhone whilst travelling/gyming and these are top rated headphones, so I'd get value from them.

They were previously closer to £250 so I guess it is all relative.

Here are some reviews:

Note however that Sennheiser have just added in line controls to the updated IE8 called the IE8i which may be relevant when they appear on the market - The new models all add an ‘i’ to the product code so you know what you’re getting. The in-line remote lets you play, pause and skip tracks, as well as make and receive calls. NOTE: the ones here on Amazon I don't think have these in-line controls as far as I know.

Voted hot these are meant to be good headphones. Can't see why this has been voted cold though seems to be a very good price.

beacuse people here think 'omgzzz £150 for headphones i can get headphones for £1 from the poundshop!!!'

Hot from me, these are brilliant and worth this price.

At that price I would be afraid to take them out of the house (or even the package for that matter). I'm not rough with my earphones but I still manage to go through a couple of pairs a year so I would be in the poorhouse if I used these.

the good thing about these ones is that the main unit is the in-ear bit and the cables (which are the things that usually disintegrate) can be replaced for around £29

although I agree, I'd be eating Tesco Value meals for a few weeks when I buy them

Good price for these top notch IEMs.

Following the affair of the £35 deal at Orange Accessories for the IE7's, these IE8's after you apply the bill20 discount can be had for £152! Although approach them with caution as their customer service is awful!!!

what happened?
where did the thread go?

Did any of you manage to get a pair of these earphones from Orange Accessories? I ordered when the item was marked as 'In stock' on their website - I phoned them up to check on progress and they told me they don't have any IE8s in stock.

The same thing has happened for four orders I've placed with them. I've contacted Trading Standards.
