Not really, Sennheiser Orpheus headphones including valve amp are around $30,000 so these are not very expensive at all.

these are exceptional earphones - very good price

Heated, try doing some research before hitting the cold button

rediculous price

rediculous price

Yet again people on this site voting cold on items they know nothing about! If you don't know then don't vote.... Simple.

Thanks op, these were still £252 a few hours ago when I looked trying to get a black Friday deal. Cheapest I found on the net is £195 so a great price. Ordered, they also come with a 2 year guarantee thanks again.

Problem is people don't care how things sound so long as they can hear something. Most people, unfortunately, are satisfied with headphones from Poundland, and think choons r bangin' when they play music over their tinny mobile phone speaker to annoy everyone around them.

I researched a variety of options and put these at top of my want list, though I think the time I was looking they were closer to this price on Amazon. Unfortunately spent too much lately, otherwise I'd have snapped these up. Also I've had recurrent ear infections lately so not sure about shoving things in my ears.

wow serious price !
epic quality

Bought, Thanks OP

Interestingly they're around the same price as JL on Amazon.deamazon.de/Sen…e80 not sure how much shipping costs though. A shame pricenoia no longer works. This JL deal is definitely better than Amazon.de, just highlighting the disparity with the amazon.co.uk price.

Are these twice as good as the phonak 112 or rha 750i being twice the price.

I have the predecessors

Be warned. Once you go up, it's hard to go down.

I can't find the Phonak 112 earphones available in the uk, the closest price I can find is £117 from Amazon.com. I picked these ie80's up at £169.95 so there is about £55 between the 2 models. I can report back on my findings when I receive the ie80's as I also have the Phonak Audeo PFE 112 with the green filters (I think these are non-enhanced bass)
