Top value for great wired headphones. £99 for iOS version in Ivory or black. Not sure difference in android version, but there more expensive. I’ve had a set for over a year now - and temped to get a backup pair. Bluetooth ones are £199 - also a decent deal

Great price!

Better to wait for next fifa world cup...
I somehow have a pair of these headphones that I've never used. Were they sold for like £20 on a glitch at some point?
No clue why I bought them as I only use Bluetooth nowadays.
The differences between the two versions relates to the functionality of the inline controls, iOS obviously being difficult to interact with in every way.

The iOS version is cheaper because iOS devices don't come with headphone jacks any more so the market for wired headphones has collapsed.

There's no difference in the headphones themselves though, you can get a different cable and use them on any device and they sound amazing.

During the World Cup they were 50% off - possibly £99 or a touch less

I think these are £79 with richer sounds

The on ear ones are cheaper - and smaller. They were the richer sounds ones. These ones are the bigger over ear headphones

£75 I got mine for
I have these, and I didn't like them because the Metal bands at the ends pick up a lot of wind noise, and noise from your clothes rubbing. I'd strictly only use them indoors if I wasn't wearing a jacket.

I've had these for over three years and I can confirm that they really aren't very good for outdoor use because of air moving over the headband. Great for use at your desk though.
Got the version 1s in the exact same colour. Awesome sounding.

They were designed to look cool not be functional. If you want functional buy the black plastic ones, the HD4.30, they are within a gnats whisker of the sound performance of the momentums but cost half as much (and they all blow the wireless ones out of the water).

The wireless version has a wire socket as well.

And yet it still sounds just as underwhelming as when it's wireless if you use it with a wire. The driver arrangement is completely different and the circuits that control whether the battery powered amp, or the passive wired input are driving the speakers obviously have a big impact on sound.

I really wanted to like the wireless version, was ready to bin my wires and happy to do so, but they aren't even in the same league when it comes to audio quality. The HD 4.30 are a real audiophile bargain, just superb for the money, and often available as refurbs from the sennheiser outlet for barely £40 shipped.

Anyway if you want wireless there's an HD 4.40BT that's got the "black plastic" practicality combined with the sennheiser sound. I've not actually tested these but I imagine they sound a lot like the wireless momentums.
