This is a great price for a quality pair of headphones. Not great noise cancelling though but sound quality is great
Cheapest ever showing on CCC

Thanks op. Had these in my Amazon list and just spotted your post. Great timing!
Had these for around 4 months. Best pair I've ever owned and would have jumped at it with this price. Highly recommended.
Why are they so cheap?
crazy hot price. excellent sound quality and looks the business. Only wish the noise cancelling was better
This is the cheapest I've ever seen it outside of 2nd hand in uncertain condition.
This model does have a tendency to have a rattle in one of the cans, but given you can send them back at no cost if there is a problem it's a no brainer.

They aren't as good at noise cancelling as the Sony WH-1000 XM2 but they have a headband that isn't prone to failure.

Hot.

Tempting at this price

Probably a new model on the horizon. Worth a punt at this price. Considering they launched around £400 nearly 5 years ago
Would still buy wired instead....
Just paid £65 for them from dixons travel. They're on for £174

Damn, lucky you! Right place at the right time!

Anyway, looks like Amazon are price matching John Lewis so you can get it there if you want John Lewis' 2 year warranty.

At this price, I couldn't resist. Plus I had a £5 voucher from the Prime Video promotion recently and I was struggling to find something to buy.
Will this price stay forever now?

Dixons travel have a double the difference promo. Ic it's cheaper on Amazon, john Lewis or argos, they'll double the difference
Thanks DaniG
mega hot!
I bought these for £170 from the Sennheiser refurb store and been very pleased with them even though I've always favoured wired headphones, this is an incredibly good price for them.
Got these last year and near this price when Sennheiser had the world cup promotion. Solid headphones.

Same here. Recently had to send them back because the left can started rattling. Reading above it's a common fault though - which I didn't realise!

They sent me a brand new pair no questions asked.

The manufacturer's warranty is two years anyway.
aptX only, no aptXHD & no LDAC.
Great headphones, definitely recommend them especially at this price. My only minor annoyance with them is you can't switch noise cancelling off while using them wirelessly
Reviews look very promising. Bought, thanks OP

Yep Sennheiser has really good customer service. Used them in the past for some earphones that were 2 weeks away from being 2 years old. Replaced without hesitation.

For those hoping they can just get stuff delivered from Dixons Travel, it is only available as pickup in a few nationwide locations like major airports. dixonstravel.com/loc…ns/

Didn't know about them before. I might check other items out when I next fly somewhere.
Thanks OP

Why are they so cheap?

Cause they’ve been around for half a decade.
Good sounding headphones though.
well worth this price.

I agree they are worth it at this price. I got a pair last year in the football promotion and my son has been hassling me ever since to get him a pair but I refused to pay more than I had for my pair.

You can attach a wire to this headphone, it comes in the box.

Aware of that. It doesn't sound as good as the wired ones even when attached with a wire, not in the same league.

£174.98 for me.
Well, I guess we differ in judging noise cancelling. I think they're excellent headphones, sound quality is brilliant, noise cancelling is brilliant too. I have tested them using flac files, mainly Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, Thriller (MJ) ,Erykah Badu's On and On. They sung very well and I couldn't hear outside noise. I even let my girlfriend try and I clapped my hands loud, and she said she couldn't hear the claps. But, like I say, different opinions, and for £120 these are epic. Unfortunately the price has shot up. I got mine using a discount code from Sennheiser themselves. Heat anyway.

£139 at Sennheiser outlet.
So? Still cheaper than £175 and all the headphones I've purchased have been brand new. Also have a 2 year warranty.

Selfridge's still have them in stock at £120.
