yes, you get them free when spending £5 or more (if they have any left, which they never have in my experience!)

MX300's fit inside the ear. These in the picture aren't the same. Bit of a whoops me thinks. Cheap anyway but not in the same league as the real 300's.

You get what you pay for, to a certain extent. These MX300s are pretty serviceable and work well with MP3 players etc. Now although the law of diminishing returns applies, more expensive headphones generally do sound better and/or are better-built. Now, I'd never dream of paying £240 (I usually pay about £20 for a pair of in-ears and I've considered paying £70 for a proper on-ear pair for home), and very few people feel that's a useful use of their money, but there are enough people out there to think spending that much is, so Sennheiser would rather get their money than let a competitor get it.
