good headphones

It would appear that the AMA5 code is still working for this

Yes got them for £4.55 great thanks

thanks

Sale of NewOldStock presumably as happens quite often with earbuds. HMV have had similar offer for while now on these (allegedly )
MyMemory have good reputation as have MX 400 generally. May need to experiment with foams and fit to get best sound. Shouldn't be expecting these to offer sound isolation or to stand up to rough treatment.
Heat added.

nice heat from me but not got great reviews..

ordered. had a pair of these for several years and still providing decent sound and still in good nick.

may get a pair for the price

Do these include foams etc. - can't see them in the pic or on the site?

Almost certainly include foams, but see they have in past been provided with a wind up carrying case which certainly wound not fit in packaging shown.

These are pretty old (in fact I believe they're from 2006), so the sound quality won't be up there with the latest MX 80 series (e.g. MX580) but it's a good price. Heat added.

hott

Hmm I have just purchased as need a new pair, but the fact that they are not in ear worries me. I've not used headphones for quite a while which weren't in ear. I guess at £4.50 it's worth a punt anyway...

I used to have a pair of these, one ear stopped working after less than 6 months use. Not bad for less than £5 but I wouldn't be rushing to buy them.

Evolution of the MX300 that had great sound. Using a pair now. Feel kinda cheap, but sound is still great.

They have been £5 at HMV for a while it seems.

Are they a good replacement for the standard iPhone earphones?

Even the cheapest Sennheiser earphones are better than the standard iPhone ones.

That picture isn't really what you would call 'in-ear' - are the ones pictured here actually the right ones?

Would these be any good when I'm out running? The ones that came with my San Francisco keep coming outta my ears! If these ain't any good for running came someone recommend a budget pair pls.

cant seem to checkout keep getting an error message

Been looking for a small set of earphones for a while... these will do nicely. Sold.

Senheisser earbuds are absolutely atrocious unless you like the sort of music that comes out of the tinted windows of souped up Vauxhall Novas driven by baseball cap wearing youths.

The bass is absolutely ridiculously overpowering and anythiing with vocals or separate instruments is drowned out by it.

They also seem to be a bit on the flimsy side.

Don't go near these headphones, even for this cheap price.

4% TCB if you want to save another 18p

Thanks. Ordered

Anyone know if the connection is straight or right-angle?

**Update** - found a piccie, straight plug unfortunately

No, no good for running. These are technically in-ear headphones, but they aren't in-canal headphones. Clip-on earphones or the ear canal ones are the earphones you want for running.

Anybody any experience with the MX270's? These are £7.49, but have an angled plug.

T4P. Ordered a pair.

thanks! heat added

Just ordered a pair, been after a replacement pair for my iPod ones that broke. Doesn't seem like I can go wrong for £4.55. Worst case I have to order a different pair and I have some cheap backups.

This is not an in-ear headphones, but its a great deal.

Out of stock now it seems.

Why do people buy these when their not even in-ear? I've always had trouble with these standard headphones

Some people, me included, struggle with the in-ear-probe type phones. I just cannot get the right fit, and I have tried loads. With the type on offer here, I get a good fit, with good sound, and can still hear outside noises. Great for running & walking. They are in-ear, as they go in your ear, just not as much as some of the others do.
