Sennheiser PX100-II Description

Sennheiser PX100-II Foldable Mini Headphones. If something is great, make it better! Second generation headphones are not an exception and Sennheiser has created the PX100-II supra-aural foldable mini headphones. The dynamic, open ear cup design of the Sennheisre PX100-II allows for a natural sound reproduction with strong bass response just as the PX100, just that extra bit better. Sturdy steel-reinforced headband caters for extra durability and long life of your headphones.

Not only does the PX 100-II offer Sennheiser-standard audio quality, the foldable mini headphones are also compact and great for travelling. The clever 'fold and flip' design means that you simply close the headband, fold in the ear cups and the PX100-II are then small enough to pack away into the travel pouch.

With their comfortably padded, supra-aural eapads, the PX100-II can deliver musical pleasure for hours. The included 1.2 metre long, single-sided cable offers generous freedom of movement.

Can't merit for these new ones but the old PX100s have great sound, are fragile (gone through two pairs on wear and tear) and can be picked up on ebay for ~£13 refurbished.

For this amount I've heard the Koss PortaPro headphones are the way to go.

i was thinking that too but i have an abundance of hair on my head almost like a mop and ive heard that the koss rip it out like a forest fire

For this amount I've heard the Koss PortaPro headphones are the way to go.

Better off looking at the Grado iGrados, which can be picked up around £40-£45 online nowadays, before the PortaPros.

However, I cannot make any comparison to the new Sennheiser PX100-II and PX200-II models. I have some original PX200s which I prefer over the iGrados when flat detail is required with classical or acoustic stuff. Reviews for the new models all seem extremely positive and I'm looking forward to hearing them, but I won't be purchasing until the prices come down a bit more.
