Seems like a good price on a great set of headphones

Having price & retailers name in the title is helpful

Not spectacular really. Slightly cheaper here (£231.80 delivered) admittedly without Amazon's CS.

Hi
Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - hotukdeals.com/ite…hr/
Or follow the link in my signature.
Kind regards

No. Seems a bit of overkill to me tbh.

Thanks AndyWedge. Will read thru it

what about a decent set of earplugs?? hehe

I miss my HD650's, cables on them kept getting crap/breaking.

These should be good.

If you only travel 1-2 times a year, it would take 3years for this to start to become value for money I reckon, 3-4 times a year, especially long haul trips, then this pays itself off within the year imo.

Care to elaborate how they will pay for themselves? I'm afraid you've left me way behind.

They obviously dispense a £50 note with each use!

Depends how you value a calm noise-cancelled flight, if you don;t care, the value is nil, I assume most people do put some value on it so a few handful of flights within 2years they have paid for themselves, IMO

schizoboy have you got them?

I've been looking online even quoted 350 in a local shop so the amazon price seemed good.

I think I must be missing the point with these noise cancelling gizmos. If you're on a plane I just can't see how a decent pair of standard headphones (not earphones) can be any less effective if you are actually listening to something. I just don't think they actually work.
My car has 'Audiopilot' bose.co.uk/GB/…jsp
and yes, the car is very quiet, but so it is when the audio is all off.
Overrated imo.

Audiopilot is the an intelligent equalizer. That's not noise cancelling. This produces 'anti-noise' so you hear nothing instead of the drone of the engine. it doesn't modulate the music.

My car incorporates noise cancelling. Whether it's AudioPilot(R) Noise Compensation, Active Noise Cancellation(TM) and or Surroundstage(TM) Signal-Processing Circuitry that actually does it I'm not 100% sure. Whichever it is, in my opinion it's just pointless. Just google 'Bose audiopilot noise cancelling'.
