Sense 32" HD Ready LCD TV Digital Freeview 1366x768 500cd/m2 800:1 HDMIx2/PC Input Gloss Black **Samsung Panel**

Just thought I would put this in because I find the TV's posted on here rather expensive and there are loads out there lots cheaper. This one has the coveted Samsung panel, one of the best pictures in the market.
A Samsung branded tv of this size is about £500

damm thats cheap.....

well,no. Samsung is about £330 to £360 depending where you buy from. Ebuyer is avoided by a lot of HotUK members because they just got rid of their free delivery without changing their prices.I now buy from amazon and Play. If you are after a £299 32" why not pick one up from Argos?

yeah exactly, why is this hot? spend another £60 and get that sony brava which is on here somewhere..

OK I can see your point, but if you check the spec you cannot get a Samsung with the same spec for less than £500, so if you find one with a similar spec to this at your prices my advice is to fill your boots!

Battleaxe, I just bought my Sony from amazon and I don't want to search for bargains now but In the past two weeks there on HotUK have been plenty of better offers. You need to look out for them. Don't look only at figures, what matters is how good is the picture you look at and how much electricity is used when on. Cheap LCD tvs usually have a very high power usage and if you spend a little more now you will find that in a couple of years time, you will have spend less money in total with a low power unit.

Im a member of the Ebuyer Forums and although the Vistron Sense TVs are generally a good price the actual quality is very poor. The picture is usually of a lower standard than better named models, also there have been numerous reports of these things breaking a lot. There has also been at least one person who bought one because it said it was a Samsung panel - and it turned out not to be.

I was in Currys last night and they had a 26" LG TV for £299 which would be better.
