I don't get how it can be wireless if it needs to be wired in to the mains to light up. Does it do something else except light up when someone walks up to it?

how does this work?? wireless???

The sensor can be removed and placed away from the light - that's the only wireless bit.

the flaw in this is that it doesn't seem to include the separate wireless pir sensor - this is really an add on light. There appears to be no sensor included with this, so nothing to actually switch the light on.

You can see how it should work from the Micromark website ]here and ]here.

could also be wireless if you just want that authentic outdoor light work without it actually working!

Ah now I think I get it. So I can confuse burglars by having a light at the back of the house light up when they approach the front???!

Yup

Maybe it will switch on any other lights at the same time so that anyone approaching the front will light up that one, one on the side and one on the back?

did a google and you can get a range of fittings that do switch all the others on even a remote control so you can swith them on from indoors.

Prices look very good comapred to other places:-

lighting-direct.co.uk/wir…reQ

The 500W floodlight here is £37.00 + VAT there. Only the remote control looks cheaper elsewhere (£11.00 +VAT versus £15.00).

Tesco seem to be selling everything at the same price. Heat added.

out of stock....
