Lighting direct have reduced the Sense-it security range, check the site
Basically its an infrared security detector that sends detection wirelessly to the receivers.
Movement sensor can be 9v battery or power supply (optional psu required), the chime and socket is mains powered.
Has an 8 way dip switch in each device to control frequency, plug in module has timer options.

I have sensor in my garage, turn a light on and alert me if someone opens it at night. Remote can be used to turn off or on. Loads of applications at a cheap price.

Errr, what item does your link go to? One that costs £6.10 ex-vat it seems - that's not the item described, nor can I find one for £15.00 Not only that I'm a bit confused as to what exactly I need to get a working system like yours. Do I get the starter kit for £42.60 ex-vat, the same one your picture shows, that you say costs £15.00? Please be more specific. Thanks.

I think just by looking at the prices its:

Sense-it Add on Movement Sensor £6.10
Sense-it Remote Control... £3.46
Sense-it Plug In Socket...£2.25
Sense-it Plug in Chime Alarm... £3.46

Which is £15.27 , i agree its not very clear either though, im just trying to make sense (sorry no pun intended) of it all. OP care to en-lighten us (opps done it again).

how bright are these things? are they for use over a doorway, or as a security light or just as a table light? 9v isn't a lot of power!

It’s a sensor not a light
