any comments regarding how good this item is?

Cheap, but it's a poor machine - you're tied in to their coffee pods, and the quality of the coffee from these machines is poor. Spend £80-100 and get a decent 15bar Saeco or similar...

Senseos have a bog ugly design too imo!

Each to their own but I have one from the last deal and we use it a lot. Your not tied to their pods you can get a cheap variation from Lidl and it makes a cup of coffee in 90 seconds , so good if your in a rush first thing.
Also you can get refillable pods on ebay cheap from the EU and fill them with your own instant.

Can really compare a £100 machine with one only costing £20 . Heat added

Be VAT registered, or see if the company you work for will let you apply for a card in there name

Makro require businesses so individuals can forget this entirely.

As for the Senseo, I bought one and was very disappointed.

I like Espresso, so my tastes are strong coffee - and no matter which variety I chose, they all come out weak tasting.

The Cappuccino was especially poor, like dirty dishwater!

You can buy 'Ecopods' where you put your own coffee in, but I tried this full to the top and still it was very weak.

I'd advocate spending more on a better machine.

Its a bit pony to say the least..... I have tried a variety of coffees and struggled to get a decent strength, plus it started leaking after a month.

Agree with the disappointed comments. I have come across these in hotels I have stayed at and the coffee never rose above ****-weak, even if I used two pods for one cup. Noisy as well.

You are better off just bunging ground coffee in a cafetiere tbh.

i have a makro card -- some good deals but be first in queue and really no great bargains -- older stock all need collection and service --well try it

had a quick google but could not find any saecos close to that price range - what model were you thinking of ?

Well I like the Senseo
They are only meant to give a small cup of coffee, about half a mug.
Unfortunately, I don't have a card for Makro.

Had one for years, used daily, love it

£20 + VAT is a good price.
