Set of 3 Cast Iron Skillet Pans. Use new customer code
3396145.jpgFrying pans are precious commodities and some of the most used items in any kitchen, whether you’re a top-level home chef, or just enjoy making pancakes for the family at the weekend. Over time they wear and become rusted, warped or unusable, and you find yourself digging deep to purchase a whole new load. The Maison & White Cast Iron Skillet Set can put an end to this repeating cycle; forged from incredibly durable pre-seasoned Cast Iron - this set is an essential addition to any kitchen. Ideal for frying & searing, baking & browning, these skillets heat evenly throughout on any hob and can be transferred from hob to oven to really utilise the potential of your kitchen.

EVEN HEAT

Cooking isn't something everyone can do, and when you’re trying to manage cooking up several things across a pan that doesn't heat evenly, that challenge is even harder. Manufactured with highly conductive Cast Iron, this set of 3 skillets, heat evenly throughout any gas, electric, inductive or ceramic hob and are oven save up to 250c.

LOOPS & LIPS

Storage is something we all need more of, no matter how much we have. This set of 3 Skillets come with a built-in hanging loop to allow you to free up that valuable cupboard space. As well as this, each of the 3 of these pans is engineered with pouring lips which makes getting shut of excess liquid or fat spectacularly easy.

NON-STICK

So, washing up, we all hate it, especially when we’ve got to scrub away at stubborn food that’s stuck to the bottom of your pans. However, all 3 sizes of the included pans are pre-seasoned. This means that vegetable oil is baked into the material at high temperatures creating a naturally non-stick surface, even with little to no oil. If you know you’ve cooked with the Maison & White cast iron skillets - you’ll be volunteering to wash up.

If you get these make sure you season them properly before use.

coat in a thin layer of veg oil, and stick in the oven at 240 (or slightly above the smoking point of whatever oil you use) for 45 mins or so.

The carbonisation that occurs as the oil smokes will give a fantastic layer of non-Stick.

do this 2/3 times at least and they’ll last forever.

wipe down after use, don’t use fairy liquid and if you must then season again after (on the hob on high heat is usually enough at this point)

the more you use them, the better they’ll get!

These will outlast the Tefal stuff by a factor of hundreds of years - these could literally be the last pans you ever need to buy.

These should already be pre-seasoned but that is good advice for anyone looking to do this

Absolutely agree. The only thing is I've got fed up with the pots and lids, do not have many and the space is limited. Every time I want one, they all fall out of cupboard. The Tefal ones are easier to store, the kids as well.
I have to say, the quality does not look great in comparison with what I had before, but I prefer to spend more to have the place tidy.
I agree with you, these will probably last forever.

On second thoughts, I've just posted an order :). My wife will kill me. My excuse to get the Tefal was I can'6 stand handles and lids, got rid of the old ones, to get these ones now

Sorry, I meant to reply to the person who mentioned £12.99 as total price. I read wrong, I thought he/she mentioned £12.99 including postage.

Isn't carbon steel a better option for most uses? Anybody used both?
Ty op, just ordered these, my old cheap frying pans have reached EOL so was looking for replacement.
My cast iron le creuset pans have served me well. If these are half as good I'll be over the proverbial.

Thanks iv been looking for cast iron pans that the kids could make cookie dough in. Heat
Absolutely love our pan. Always lives on the stove top and never any need to add fat when cooking a steak. I used coconut oil/lard to season for the first 3-4 cooks
I threw the two smaller pans out. Pretty useless, way too small
Ordered. Thanks
Don’t forget these pans need some salt and peppering before use and to maintain longevity.
Do you still have to season these in the oven as it says they are pre seasoned
Do these work on induction?
can the 10" one handle tomahawk steak?
I have a cast iron skillet for the last forty years, before that my Mother cooked on the same one for many years . They really do get better with age. On mine there is a large build up of carbon on the bottom but doesn't interfere with cooking
Ordered thanks. Enter code at checkout

Do these work on induction?

Assuming they have flat bottoms then they will work.
I have a set (different brand but look identical) and they are perfect on my induction hob.

Pre-seasoning tends to be more to stop them rusting and get them looking uniform for sale. with a very mild but usually ineffective non-stick layer. I would always season them again at least twice to get them how you’d want them to perform, even for more expensive cast iron
