From Gabriele Muccino, the director of 'The Pursuit of Happiness' and starring two-time Academy Award nominee Will Smith, alongside Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson and Madison Pettis, comes 'Seven Pounds', the emotional tale about forgiveness, regret and love. The film follows Ben Thomas (Will Smith), an IRS agent who has a guilt-ridden secret that haunts his life. Ben plans to take action and redeem himself by changing the life of seven strangers who are in need of help. Each one has a different problem from financial to spiritual, and each one plays a particular part in his plan of redemption. However, a spanner is thrown in the works, when the impossible happens and he falls in love with one of the stranges, Emily, a lively, beautiful woman with a heart complaint. Emily alters his plans and in the process changes his view of the world.

Great price

I agree, about £4 more expensive everywhere else

I loved this film...

Great film but remember the extra cash you will need for the tissues for the end.

This is another MIST i.e. it divides opinion. I thought it was one of the worst films ever made.

nice price

Great price. I loved the film, and I sobbed from the moment I twigged to what he was doing.! Heat added, great price.

Voted hot for the price, not because I liked the film. (As you all should)

Awesome film!
doesn't matter if you do know what's going to happen at the end....

They should do free jellyfish with every copy.

If you are of average, or below average intelligence you will like this film. I'm not insulting anyone it's just what I observed from those who watched the film. Hence it scoring well on imdb.

It's not the worst film ever made, Will Smith is always watchable (apart from Hancock) but it definitely isn't a "good" film.

So yeah, Hot if you're a bit thick and easily influenced.

Definitely worth watching.

Ok I'll bite.
You came to that conclusion from a statistical study of how big a group?
I loved it, as did my wife, and while neither of us would profess to be genuises (Yes we could start a whole new thread on 'geniuses v genii'), we both have IQ's around the 125-130 mark which is typical for our chosen careers. (Computer Programmer and Teacher.)
I think you'll find Average comes in around 90-110.
No insult taken btw. :-D
btw, does liking Jack Black films actually mean I'm stupid?

I truly loved this film and it was recommended by my GF who didn't give any spoilers (any spoilers on this film might ruin it).
I honestly can't understand the almost vitriolic response in some people's opinions.
As far as I'm concened, Will Smith (and I was no particular fan - Fresh prince!?) has excelled himself and proved a VERY versatile and effective actor in his recent films.

I didn't go to see this as it was SO obvious what the plot was and what would happen at the end (and I was right) that I thought I'd save my money. And this kind of thing from WS I'm not keen on anyway.

But not a bad price if you like it.

Surely you can 'guess' the end of 99% fo films...and TV shows...and books... Do you just keep tossing a coin all day to amuse yourself at the unpredictability? :?

So you watched a group of people, in the dark to see their reactions instead of watching the film? :?

Strong life choice ;-)

Applying that logic, you don't watch WW1/WW2 films or any other non-fiction as you know what happens :whistling:

This has got to be the stupidest thing i have read on this forum.

Going by your own hypothesis, you should have loved this film.
