Good price for 1, even better with 3 for 2 - £11.38 for just under a whole years supply!

As an example, Morrisons are selling these for £7.50 for 120 capsules, saving £11.12 when buying 3.

Thanks OP - a good deal on the 3 for 2 offer but be aware that these particular supplements provide only a tiny amount of the beneficial fatty acids:

seven-seas.com/en_…tml

They provide just 36mg of EPA and 49mg of DHA (the beneficial constituents of the supplement). To compare, a 3oz portion of salmon contains around 600mg of EPA and 1200mg of DHA so the amount in this supplement is practically homeopathic. It's disappointing that the Amazon product page does not display the nutritional content of the capsules but this is why you need to always check before buying any nutritional supplement, particularly fish oils as the amount of EPA and DHA is not necessarily proportional to the amount of pure fish oil in the capsule.

A better choice would be a fish oil concentrate such as this one:

amazon.co.uk/Lam…Q3S

This delivers 360mg of EPA and 240mg DHA. Yes, it is more expensive but you get what you pay for. And even these do not provide anywhere near the amount you would get from eating a portion of fish so they are only supplements and not replacements.

It re calculates at final stage, just before you hit the button to order.
Just go and buy the Poundland cod liver oil tablets.
Not much difference.

Yes, you are right. On the description they talk about taking 250 mg of EPA & DHA for health benefits, but the total for each of these tablets is only 85 mg, so you would have to take about 3 of these tablets each day to almost reach the suggested 250 mg of EPA & DHA. I am currently taking the ones from Aldi that cost me around £1 or so (can't remember the exact price) - the Aldi ones have 50 in the container but each tablet provides 260 mg of EPA & DHA. I actually take two a day instead as the recommended daily dose for healthy adults (that I have read on-line) is between 250 mg - 500 mg a day.

It is really poor marketing the way they have made the product pictures on the Amazon page deliberately avoid showing you the nutritional content and then claiming that you need to take one-a-day. But people will still buy it because they're buying the brand rather than the product.
