my wife bought one of these on sunday, she had borrowed one very similar from a friend previously and was impressed enough to buy one to replace ours that broke when it fell out of the bottom of the case....

comes with a 3 year guarantee, which must say something,

casing is plastic whereas older machines and the more expensive ones are metal, but i guess you get what you pay for and if you dont drop it should be ok!

Link takes you to 69 euros, since when does €69 come to £38, more like £65 in todays market.

Good point; OP can you explain or change the link?

This is the correct 'UK' link.

aldi.co.uk/uk/…htm

The OP has posted an 'Irish' link.

Sorry mates....
I have changed the link to the UK site.
It doesn't have auto needle threader.
I bought it only yesterday and it works like a breeze:thumbsup:

What is it?
What would I want one for?

Mmmm, well it's called a sewing machine and it even looks like one so I guess you could use it to sew things ...just a guess mind, I'm sure someone will be along to confirm. ;-)
