Ha. Well you make a lot of assumptions. I do my own home as well considering all the tools are at a lock up not in my van over night. Said SGS rubbish was bought and used for that purpose. I detailed the maintenance side of things to highlight I do know my tool life expectancies. My experience was so bad I choose to type in Caps to attract attention to the post. Not because I like shouting. Quit the personal rudeness it lowers the tone. You had a different experience. Let's move on..
These things are sold in 1000s of different colours and brands. Including Aldi, Lidl, Trueshopping, Mitox etc etc. Mitox charge £200 for them! They're amazing for the price; show me an alternative for the money! You can get spares easily enough, and they're cheap too. Carbs (for example) are so cheap that isn't even worth rebuilding one if it craps out.
You run a commercial maintenance company and yet you buy consumer grade garden tools and then feel you have a right to complain when they break? Buy a Stihl or a Husq. and stop being a cowboy. Also buy a new keyboard, ideally one where you can turn caps lock off. I have had a couple of compressors of SGS and they have always been excellent to deal with.
GUYS DO NOT BUY.. I RUN A PROPERTY MAINTENANCE FIRM. WE BOUGHT ONE.. STUFF JUST SHAKES APART FROM HARNESS TO BOLTS. RENDERED USELESS FROM 3-4TH USE. CUSTOMER SERVICES LIE ABOUT SENDING SPARE PARTS. WRANGLED WITH THEM FOR MONTHS SORTING THIS OUT. DEFINITEY AVOID!!
Realy happy with mine, had it 2 years, built it, fillled with petrol and it started 2nd pull, very powerful, very clear instruction manual written in real Engllish. Before I bought I emailed the company with a question and the following day had a phone call in reply answering my question then a week later another email asking if there was anything else they could help with. Agree with comments on bump line feed but hey at this price buy another head if it worries you. No problems here. Thanks for the post.
