The Shade Station have a good selection of Goggles up for sale, some may have damaged boxes so be aware if you are buying as a gift.

the dragon "**** chenny" goggles can be found @ the same price from another vendor, I'd go for dragon over von zipper if anyone is torn between as dragon used to be owned by a big company like burton or oakley or someone like that

heat from me

Some excellent prices there, just paid more than that for some Feenoms - dammit!

Grab yourself some awesome Oakley Wisdom Goggles, now out of production but these amazing goggles are a steal at this price, bought mine yesterday and arrived today.

Thanks, just got a pair, was tricky to decide between Gold Iridium and High Intensity Persimmon as an all round lense. Went with HI Persimmon in the end after looking it up online.

Oh don't worry Op great deal, good of you to alert folk to them, just thought i'd best throw in the info that others might miss & be chasing your tail about!

Oakleys are pretty bomb proof, good deal for something you;ll have for 10 yrs or maybe more, great optically, just don't scratch that lens coating!!!!

been looking for a new pair thankyou

Original Poster

To be fair the box I received whilst plastic, was cracked but had the bag/cloth with the goggles and I was just happy with the price as I had been after these at a decent price for a while, but duly noted

Oakley need checking on the face as to nostril pinch & face fit, generally excellent goggles, I wear A frames (& I have a wide head) myself but would have no qualms with these, good air flow
Should be noted this is limited availability possibly damaged boxes etc...

So buyers should take this into consideration when assessing this as a present for somebody.

Now £42.50 - wonder what they are up to... decide on a price!

Given how these seem to have changed in price at least 3 times since posting, I would recommend that if you are interested to do some random refreshes over the next few hours - you might see it reduce to the £35 again if lucky.

Well done to those who got an order in before the price jump!

Yeah they are now £40. Still a fantastic deal though for Oakleys, folks - and still by far the cheapest I can find anywhere else. Shame it's went up a bit though.

On the other hand, I bought a pair of Wayfarer II's in the US twenty … On the other hand, I bought a pair of Wayfarer II's in the US twenty years ago for either 50 quid or 50 dollars, I can't remember which. I couldn't count the times I've dropped them, sat on them, chewed them and whacked them, and they've never had a lens drop out. I don't think Wayfarers have ever cost £140 so I reckon you must be mistaken. Wouldn't like to say that this is the cheapest price on earth for Wayfarers but there must be some dodgy copies out there to avoid. Maybe you got yours on eBay from someone in China? If these replicas are as well-constructed as the originals (and not just visually identical), they'll last a lifetime. So £70 divided by 20 years is less than a penny a day.

Well thats how much i paid in the house of fraiser and i doubt they sell copies , she claimed they were so expensive cause of being brand new out , i got the first ones so i was told lol , i liked them so i paid it , now wished i never bothered.

I will be taking them back now though just to have a moan , i doubt ill get anywhere though as when i tried to put them back in the frame i made things worse and chipped a bit of the glass off and bent the frame a little

Yes i since found them like £30 cheaper online but i perfer not to buy these sort of things online as i like to see if they suit my face etc first

Btw they were aviator ones im talking about

Original Poster

These are not replicas they are genuine!

If you factor in how often the UK has sun it's probably more like £1/day ;-)
