Update 1
Back down to £22.99
This has been cheaper before but I was looking to pick up a copy today and Argos appears to be cheapest currently (I think)

Plenty of stock near me so hopefully this will help somebody out. I’ve reserved a copy to collect later

It's got hints of Zelda (solo protagonist + horse, adventuring in beautiful land), God of War (giant bosses) and Titan Souls (the bosses are the main feature and each is a sort of puzzle in its own right). It's made by the same team that made Ico and The Last Guardian if you've played those. Just watch a few videos to get a feel of what it's like.

I played the PS3 remaster and enjoyed it. Playing this version at the moment and it really is gorgeous. If you watch a side-by-side comparison video with the original and PS3 versions, the difference is astounding - Bluepoint did a marvellous job. The framerate is poor in 4K (not their fault), but the performance mode is lovely. Very few additions (new collectible, restructured trophies, slightly altered difficulty modes) but just the remake job in itself is impressive. Wander's and Aggro's controls can be really clunky at times and the camera can be frustrating (the final boss infuriated me at times) but it's better than I remember.

I'm going for the platinum, which is no mean feat, but the quality of the game is such that replaying bosses and grinding for max health/stamina is a pleasure.
A game with a Metacritic of 92 for £23? Hard to argue with that, it really is.

Have a gander at this
Was so tempted to buy this but with all the great titles coming out, I think I'll wait till the price crashes.

Still a great price though, for what appears to be an astounding remake of a great game.
Heat added. I think it was 1 pound more on pre-order from Amazon.
Game looks excellent with PS4 pro, impressive graphics.

I just want to add to this that if it's your first time playing a teamico game wanders controls will probably **** you off and ruin the game for you like it did me

There is no 1440p, only 1080p or 4K.

Looks cool - reminds me of gow a bit.
Just cannot get on Colossi 5’s tail from the lake platform, too old for this

The only game I can really make a close comparison to is The Last Guardian, which as others have said above is from the same developer.

Good game but my only criticism is there is a huge variance in difficulty from Colossus to Colossus.

I figured it, but took several attempts to smash the **** out of its wings (whilst falling off)

Just remember this is well over a decade old. Think of it as a timeless masterpiece that was well ahead of its time, much less to do than in zelda, but there are a few collectibles/achievements to go for.

This remake is truly beautiful it looks like a game from this gen.

In terms of replay value, note that probably 90% of people that pre-ordered have already completed it at least once on either/both ps2/ps3 already, maybe that answers the question, I don't know..

Like most of the games by this dev, its a unique and essential experience designed to be played at a relaxed pace of your choosing. I am currently playing it through again, having done so numerous times already over the years!

Thanks, just ordered one.
I don't wanna wait any longer, I think this is a very good price for a masterpiece.
£24.99 now.
Only on Playstation ;-)
Damn, price has risen to £24.99...

Digital Foundry says the resolution is 1440p which is obviously upscaled to 4K, not sure what you're talking about. Do you have the game? I do and I'm playing it on a Pro

Well then your screenshot isn't 1440p is it. It's 1440p upscaled to 4K.
Comment still stands.
No amount of photoshopping can restore it to 1440p unless you reverse PS4 Pro's upscale algorithm.
And yes, I have Pro and this title.

Digital foundry my friend and no your comment doesn't stand, I can set the game to play in 1080p mode but my screenshots share settings are set for 2160p, all this means is that the canvas is 4k but the picture is still 1080p stretched to fit the canvas.

Everybody and their grandma knows the game doesn't run at native 4k which means it obviously runs at a lower resolution and it still looks stunning, so what's the problem?

Never had a problem mate, and was never debating whether the game renders at 4K or not.
What is this "Back down to £22.99" Witchcraft? It works for me! Ordered a copy to pick up at lunchtime.
I've got a ..... colossal... back log of games to get through before I spend money on this title for the third time in three generations of console.
A masterpiece in atmospheric game design, but it'll be much cheaper by the time I've got time to repay it.... again.
£1 more on Amazon for those that can't get to an Argos
Guys get this game! It’s a know brainer...22.99 or 24.99 it’s the best money you’ll spend on a game. I bought it and wasn’t expecting much but omg loving it...that’s my 2 cents anyway
Heat for price. Personally I found the game a bit meh

Got this game when it first came out. My interest in it lasted for about 10 minutes before I decided that it wasn't anything special and quite boring.

Battlefield 1 all the way for the win :-)
Argos is amazing. Doing same deals as Amazon or better on the high street.
Hmm, buy it now or wait for a future decrease still have loads of games I need to play, though with 10% discount it makes it even cheaper, I'll have a think.

10 minutes on any game is not enough time, let alone this..

His comment does stand. he is right. You are wrong. If you have the game set to 1080p, then your screenshots will be 1080p. you can't screenshot a 1080p game at 4k. That's not how it works. As there is no "1440p" rendering setting, the screenshot will also not be 1440p.

The game might run at 1440p upscaled to 4k, but the screenshot you caputre will be a 4k screenshot of an upscaled 1440p resolution. Still a 4k screenshot.

So you're still wrong.

Also, my grandma did not know this game was not native 4k, so.... wrong again, buddy. Quit while you're.... well, you're not really ahead at this point...
Thx OP!
loved playing this on ps2
