Should be free - rip off merchants.

Love Shakesphere, but believe this should be free.

Voted hot.

Many of these works are free to download individually from Amazon. What you are paying for here is the effort involved in compiling the work into a single volume and setting up an index. Personally I don't think it's unreasonable to charge a small fee for that, especially when you have the option to download them individually without cost.

As an alternative it might be worth considering (for the same price):

...which also includes the 154 sonnets and the narrative poems.

Voted cold as Shakespeare is way out of copyright and can be downloaded for free, you do not have to pay for it

Shakespeare would approve.

Its quite easy to find all his works as a single volume and just copy it across using calibre, I did it myself a while back...

I've got a complete works of Shakespeare iPhone app that has all the indexing etc included - and that was free, so the argument that there is extra work involved here doesn't really hold (even if comparing 2 different platforms). Cold.

So is it exactly 2p? Or not 2p? That is the question.

Awful, unreadable due to so many mistakes. I started on The Twelfth Night and it said "If musicke be the food of loure play on" so i deleted and got a refund from amazon
