Kiddha Dosto (hello friends)!!

Good freezer item for those days when you cannot be bothered to make from scratch or in my case when those at home who make them are on holiday!! Not the healthiest but as they say, everything in moderation. They normally sell for about £1.40 to £1.50.

Description: Unleavened bread with a crispy, soft texture with a light savoury taste. Paratha, the unleavened bread, originated in the northern part of Indian sub-continent, having been popular because of their crispy, soft texture with a light savoury taste. Shana Parathas are a joy to eat and can be consumed at breakfast with yogurt and pickle, at lunch or dinner as an accompaniment to curries, or as a snack rolled up with a tasty filling.

how to cook them
I use my fingers to twist them around until they are cooked.
voted hot (garam garam)

useally @ £1.49

time for Tesco to take over the asian market..
this monopoly is doing its thing!

Delicious parathas, especially the onion one, hot

Clever marketing...Ramadan around the corner...these things are eaten like hot cakes so no wonder this is reduced along with dates at Asda!

However I prefer home cooked altho these do taste nice...

yeah spotted these yesterday before checking up on here (which I normally do). It really depends on if you live in a ethnically diverse area to whether your Tesco's stock this and other asian foods. I live in west london so they've got the whole aisle length dedicated to asian and world foods and that's the same for all the tesco's and asda'sin this area. I suspect if you live in places like Dorset, parts of kent and Cornwall you won't have your Tesco's stocking this. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. Being a British born asian who travels all over the country in my job it's amazing to see how ethnic groups are few and far between in certain counties and rural area's yet you are always within 10 miles of a local curry house. lol.

They stopped stocking these at my local Tesco about a year ago.
Shame because these are the best paratha around.
