I think many would have voted cold as it simply isn't value for money.

I kind of wish the stigma around that would go away. When you compare it to the likes of a cinema ticket price or to go bowling (heck even a dinner at a restaurant), we get a lot more value for money with video games than we do for most other forms of entertainment. In my area it is £15 a ticket almost. Just one ticket and I may as well own the Blu-Ray when it comes out. Or for-go two films and buy this game.

Not saying anyone here is to blame as it is the entire gaming stigma in general. It just seems like the "cost to value" view on games is heavily misguided.

Have people found this cheaper elsewhere or are they voting cold based on this game not being to their acquired taste? Looks a very fun game and cheaper than PS4 version! Heat added!
Cheapest place to get the game. Heat added!

Yeah that is likely a fair point, although i feel the cd and booklet makes it a fair price based on other titles in the same mould in which you only receive the game so it is a nice added bonus.

I paid £15 for just the main game the other day - absolutely love it! This game has been made with a lot of love on every department. Last time I checked, both DLCs were around £8 each. Considering this version comes with an art book and a soundtrack CD, I'd say it's a great deal!

Hot stuff!

i just don't agree with games being a higher price compared to the other consoles versions, BUT realised this isnt the shantae game i thought it was.

i hadn't voted cold as i rarely do unless its a cold deal like joy cons being over £70 lol.
Heat added, regardless of value for money it's the cheapest price around
I haven't played any of these games. This looks really fun to me. I am tempted. But think I'll get Wonderboy first. Then Donkey Kong and Kirby eventually.

You're comparing different forms of entertainment, which is pointless. Based on this logic, video games are poor value for money, as I can buy a pack of cards, or a football which are way cheaper, and me and my mates love both.

Love a good game of throw down.
Whats the difference between the eshop version and this (norway eshop about £13) and is it worth the extra
Just playing this on my Wii u now, absolutely love it! The animation is beautiful, so fluid too, real old school feel, great colours, good mechanics, this is perfect for young kids too, easy but lots to explore and do, can’t say enough about it
