Sure this has been listed already but heat anyway, great hoover, much better than dyson.
I bought the NZ801UK last week for £229 - brilliant vacuum cleaner. We had a Miele for 10 years, and after a week of the shark the carpets & rugs have never looked so healthy. If the Miele had lasted a week more, i'd have been all over this!!
Great deal, especially as our old faithful vac has just blown up. Now, do I buy this or wait a couple of weeks for Black Friday.

Might be worth holding out.. just never know 🤞
Thanks Ian, I'll get signed up now.
Already posted, but great deal!
Is that better than Dyson V6 Animal?
I want this anti hair wrap but on a cordless version? do they do one?
Does anybody know how this compares to the amazon deal listed at £169.99? (Shark Upright Vacuum Cleaner [NV681UKT)

This one has the new anti wrap which is great for long hair and pet hair. Also this one has duo clean which the Amazon one doesn't. That's a deal breaker. The two spinning bars is brilliant for cleaning and picking up stuff. It would have to be about £100 for me to even consider missing out on those features...in fact I probably still wouldn't bother.
Any more owner's thoughts on this vacuum cleaner? I'm interested but our old Dyson cylinder is still working.

This is a great hoover. We swapped from cordless dyson v7 and although the cord is a bit annoying it outweighs how good it is. Used the v7 the night before we got this and then tried this and it picked loads up and was full after doing the entire house. We paid this price on a 4 instalment deal and got a free animal attachment and another wand the other weekend

Thanks! I'll take another look at this then as if you've moved from cordless back to corded then this must be good.

Thank you that was useful. I'm cancelling my Amazon for this but might wait another week for black Friday

I tell you now it’s the best hoover I’ve ever had! The dust it’s collected is unreal.
As a male saying this.... and hoovering every day since it came last week, you do the math lol
Corded or cordless?....doing my nut in deciding.

Are the corded ones more powerful....google doesnt seem to be too helpful

Corded is always going to be better for a proper clean.
I have a cordless which is ok for vacuuming up little things or just a quick blast over hard floor areas .
Mine arrived yesterday and have vacuumed around the house across hard floors and carpets. A few early observations...

Pros - Very impressive dust pickup. I’d only gone around a day or so before with my previous machine and this picked up absolutely loads more. The anti-hair wrap is phenomenal. I wondered if it was a case of it would get some off the brush bar but not all. With a wife and 2 teenage daughters, our bedroom carpets are absolutely full of it and I was sick of having to spend ages unclogging it. With the shark, every single hair ends up inside the container.

Cons - There’s a couple but they’re minor niggles. The cord is a couple of feet shorter than any previous vacuum I’ve owned, just means I have to move the socket I’m plugged into during vacuuming. It’s top heavy with a narrow base, so if using the hose to clean furniture etc, the shark falls over constantly, got whacked by it repeatedly but you can get around this using it in lift-away mode.

Overall I’m very impressed. The anti hair wrap was the key thing for me when thinking about buying and it works perfectly. The only minor niggles I’ve got have workarounds. Very happy with purchase

Hmm a Miele or this? Also wondering if BF deals will be better than this. Very tempted...
The model above is £50 more.....

I say buy a shark I thought Dyson’s were pretty good until I got a shark a lot they have a more suction and better build quality which makes it a bit heavier which could be a negative to some people but it comes with a 5 year guarantee because it’s build to last!

They will when they have stock again. I would swap my car kit for the pet power brush though
The filters need replacing every year on this? Just reading some of the comments on the other thread and some were fairly negative
The car kit still shows as an add-on to the pet model when you add to basket for £19.99 so you can have both pet/car combination for £219.98

Just received it today.. it is ok, given that my previous one is 2200w 5 years old.. the suction power is not as strong as the old one, however, with the motorised head, the result is almost the same. The pet head is not really motorised,I think it relies on suction wind for operation. The pet head will not flex so it is quite hard to use it on stairs. Overall, I'm not overly taken by it, it just does the same job with less power and effort

2200w is the power consumption really... nothing to do with suction power. The head being motorised makes a big difference. You will notice the difference in the electric bill.

So would you buy something else instead? I Imagine you expected the newer model to be more of an upgrade, but the real question is whether this vaccum cleaner is worth the £200

I thought about cordless, but was put off by many comments about being less powerful.. so that ruled out Dyson completely (and the fact that I think they are over priced for what they are). Given some EU regulation I read somewhere, the maximum power is 900W, I concluded that it must have a motorised head. Then the reviews and YouTube videos about it were good, it was the best option I found (in the 30 minutes I was willing to spend searching for one). To answer your question, I wouldn't buy another one. It is good, it does the job, it is just my expectations were higher than they should

Thanks, I'll buy the xl version when BF deals kick off this week:)
Just ordered... Hopefully will not be dissapointed as it is my first try with Shark... Never had it before.
Does anyone know the difference between this and the AZ910UKT. It's titled as a Vacuum Cleaner "Plus" rather than just a vacuum cleaner, but I can't see what makes that difference.
great deal, heat added
