Does anyone know what these are like for hoovering the car? My previous vax blade was crap at it. I've got a Henry Numatic which does a great job, but would prefer something cordless for the car.
Only 8 min run time on a battery charge

I have one of these in Black. I got it from Costco when it was on offer. I use it in for times when it's too much of a hassle to bring out my big vacuum cleaner. I also use it to clean the car. It's very good. Battery lasts for long enough to finish all jobs I've used it for so far.
Just be sure to clean out the filter frequently, or the power gets reduced.

Honestly, if a job takes longer than 8 minutes, it is worth getting the proper vacuum cleaner out...before the 8 minutes is up, I am fairly certain it would be full as well. It is not a replacement for a proper cleaner. Just a convenient replacement for a dustpan and brush. We use it in such a manner and it works well for us. Very useful with a little one around at home.

Thanks. Might get one
Mine arrived a few days ago. Its pretty good, though pricey for what it is even at £99.
The suction is better than a dustbuster and it looks ok to leave out so its good to grab. I am using it for jobs involving dust only.
I would not trust it in the Kitchen myself..

I got the 2 battery I've never used the 2nd one!! And I drive a minibus
Does anyone know how this compared to the Eufy homevac H11 pure vacuum? Currently£50 from Eufy directly.
Bought a dual battery one in the black Friday deals, the second battery charges while the main unit charges.

Our main unit has just started to not recharge.

Great table and nook Hoover, will arrange a return though.
Or buy in John Lewis, same price and free delivery with 2yr warranty

My only issue is these is the flexibility, I held one when on a deal in Costco and it’s a lumpy old thing, if it had a flexible end that would be good but to get in tight corners it wouldn’t be easy, not difficult for anyone considering one but can’t physically get to see one to hold an object of similar size and use imagination, it certainly put me off, imagine trying to get under a car seat to clean properly with the size and length with attachment, it’s impossible

This is great and wouldn't live without it now, any quick spills of food in the kitchen and it's dealt with. Hardly ever use the dustpan and brush now.

Good finding! It is £0.99 more but worth the additional year warranty
Not as sexy.... But this is a far better dust pan and brush replacement in my view

How would this compare with one of the Dyson handheld? We use them at work and they're very good but dont seem to be available at the moment.

To be honest, I'm not sure. They look most like the DC34 I think. I know they're a few years old, could be a v6 even.

The V7 which is still for sale is more expensive and can be considered a vacum cleaner wireless. The shark is more a tool to be used to quickly pick up breadcrumbs, hairs, corner dust and small things, the idea is to have it on display always ready to be used. The V7 and it's family can be used as handheld vacuum but they are heavier and bulkier, the battery thought last longer and have more powerful sucking along with more accessories for cleaning.

Thanks, I think I'll hold out for a v7
Better off getting direct from Shark
Norcino30/05/2020 14:07

Why?

Same price, direct from manufacturer, 2 year warranty and I would imagine dealing direct with the manufacturer should anything go wrong would be easier than having to go through a 3rd party.

Has been hard but eventually I found the link, the price is like John Lewis £99.99 and also the Amazon version has 2 years guarantee if you register the product.
Got one from amazon, used for 5 minutes, rubbish, just has so little suction, maybe a faulty, but amazon always wins for zero hassle returns, for this price it’s massively overpriced imho.

I love mine, of course it doesn't have the suction of my big bulky Dyson but it does actually do more than I was expecting for an handheld vacuum cleaner.
What did you fail to vacuum?
Beldray revo is better for £40
