Tackle different floor types

A cleaner house is easy to achieve with the SharkDuoClean True Pet Flexology IF130UKTH Cordless Vacuum Cleaner.

With its DuoClean technology, you can move from room to room, cleaning carpets and hard floors without stopping to switch heads. The soft brush roll makes direct contact with hard floor surfaces, pulling in dirt and fine dust for a perfect clean in one go, while the bristle bar cleans deep into carpets to pull up embedded pet hair and other debris.

The 30 minute battery life helps you to get more cleaning done in one go. When you're finished, the battery can be charged on the vacuum or plugged straight into a wall socket.

Perfect for allergy sufferers and pet owners

The IF130UKTH is ideal if there's an allergy sufferer in your household - Shark's Anti-Allergen Complete Seal captures and traps 99.9% of dust and allergens inside the vacuum, not releasing them back into the air you breathe.

Tired of cat and dog hair all over your sofa? The TruePet tool helps you to remove it all with ease.

Flexology for easier cleaning

When dust collects in nooks and crannies, the flexible wand bends so that you don't have to move furniture around to give your home a deep clean. If you need to stop for a break, just fold it down until you're ready to resume.

Plus, LED headlights help to illuminate darker areas such as under furniture - you'll never miss hidden dust and pet hair again.

Detachable handheld unit

With a single click, you can switch to a handheld unit to tackle sofas, stairs, ceilings or even inside the car.

Please note: Captures and holds dust and allergen particles of 0.3 to 10 microns.

Did you contact shark support? this model is covered by a 5 year warranty and the head would have been replaced for free. I know because i've had one replaced when the plastic flexi hose at the back has split.

This or the Dyson V7 total clean for the same price? Anyone have experience with both?
I've got a Dyson v8 and a if200 via amazon.de.

I prefer the Shark

For balance, head stopped working on our Shark, phoned them up, new one dispatched and received next day. So no problem with them at all.
Just recently bought this model to replace an old Dyson V6. This is much better than the Dyson. We have wooden floors, carpets, rugs and tiles and this is much more versatile than the Dyson. It folds in half which makes it easier to store and the battery is removable so can don’t have to charge it in a specific place.
I've got this model and I rate it. Good suction, works well on carpet and hard floors, easy to change into a handheld and comes with a good mix of attachments. Folds away for storage and doesn't need wall mounting to charge. Only thing I would say is a small 'bin' for the dust collection so requires regular emptying. No issue for me personally though may be a factor for some. Saying that - I think all vacs with this design are pretty much the same.

Rubbish, I've bought a new small head as it was lost. No problem at all. Its guaranteed for 5 years for goodness sake so why didnt you claim under the warranty?.

Thanks for the link. Did it come with uk plug or do you have to use an adapter? I haven’t ordered from German Amazon before. Many thanks
EU adaptor. Works fine with a £1 adaptor or you can buy a uk adaptor from shark for 14.99
I regularly order from EU amazon sites, sometime they dispatch from UK.

I have no idea about the warranty, but graemestead implied that they didn't have "just" the belt needed, so had to get a whole head instead, because they didn't stock just a belt in the UK. Again no idea about the warranty length on the particular shark product graemestead purchased, or when. Some people expect their stuff to keep working after the guarantee expires.

I think it's because 'buy' was mentioned and the general assumption is that it would have had at least a 12 month warranty, meaning no purchase necessary, unless I'm missing something. The model in this deal has 5 year warranty on the vacuum and 2 year warranty on the battery. Easy to register via Shark website.

I wouldn’t necessarily say this model is worth the additional £85

I don't know the difference between the two, was just pointing out they were different models.
Seems the difference between this and the German one is the plug type? Would you still have a 5 year warranty with the German one and would the official UK Shark battery work in it??

Edit...it is actually a different model, not sure on the differences but the one from Germany costs £126.54 delivered to UK if it helps

From reading other posts on HUKD I believe so...though would be worth checking with Shark. Also, does it have the motorised pet brush? Maybe a factor for some.

This particular vacuum has a 5 year warranty, which lets face it for a battery powered thing is amazing, especially if the battery is covered too (I'm not checking). i haven't had a vac that hasn't lasted at least 10 years before a break down, so it's good to know if I can just get a belt if needed. I think graemestead was talking in general, if you are outside of the warranty (not normally 5yr for a shark) then getting just the tiny part that is broke may be tricky in the UK. Graemestead wasn't actually focused on just this deal, it sounded general to shark.

The Germany one has a run time of 22 minutes Vs 30 minutes of this one. Tbh 22 is cutting it close and that's just on the low setting.

What happens if you have a problem with it and it's purchased through the German site? Is it covered by the same warranty?
Can't help be notice how ugly looking this is compared with the Dysons

Yeah but this has headlights!
Got this vacuum and paid twice the amount it is available for at the German Amazon link posted above, which is great value for a really good bit of kit.

If you have pets that shed, you should definitely buy the Deep-Cleaning Motorised Pet Tool from Shark to go with it, only £30, but it properly shifts all the embedded hair in furniture / stair carpet etc.

Dyson v7 is terrible. Struggles to pick up constantly, even with cleaning the head and filters regularly. Literally the only positive of the Dyson is ease of use. If you want a Dyson pay more for the models after the V8 or look for something else IMO.
Picked up the IF200 for £98 on here, it's been fantastic for me, quite a large house and manage to get it all done in 20mins. Very versatile.
Shark support is excellent. The latch on the flexi-wand broke on mine, and they sent a complete new flexi-wand without a quibble, which arrived next day.
