Just get the 601uk off amaZon. We bought it from Argos and it's amazing
If I'm reading this right the main bargain here is getting the TruePet for £172???

The TruePet NV601UKT is understood to be far better than the NV601UK and is priced around £260 in most places, thus a significant saving.

If correct, £172 would probably be the cheapest the UKT can be bought for - unless anyone knows different?

Yep you are correct, it's £157 directly from Shark, £15 more than standard NV601UK
Tried both and the Dyson was simply way way better

I’m confused - does the NB601UK with truepet upgrade make it a NV601UKT as that’s still listed as £269.99 on the site ?

I just looked at the Which reviews and was surprised to see Shark way down the list.

I think the difference is the colour and if you look closer the red one is OOS and not on sale, the website refers to buy the blue model with free pet upgrade making it the same, the only difference is the additional free pet brush which makes up the Trupet part

thanks - you don’t seem to get the pet specific tool with the upgraded one.

I’m after a new hoover. Can anyone tell me what the suction power is on this model? Can’t find it on the website.
my dyson Ball is 90w so just want to know if it’s much more powerful.

True pet version is no different to standard version in terms of the machine. All true pet means is you get an extra tool which is an air powered mini brush, usually not worth the extra cost.

Depends obviously on the cost. It's an excellent tool, especially handy for stairs. My Nv601ukt cost £118 in November 19 and I think it was only £149 last month at amazon

Excellent vacuum cleaner
adam1901/01/2020 22:14

It's heavyer

Having had both versions the difference in weight is not noticeable when using.
£150 in store at out local Tesco at the moment but I’m going to wait in a deal on the duo clean model

That's without the True Pet tool, but at that price was an excellent price.
th302/01/2020 00:07

750W motor.

I think Dyson give out the air watts rating, hence the massive difference from the wattage of the motor, from Shark.
my hoover is 2600 watts , cost me 40 quid for pull along Vax , lasted 6/7 years so far and still going,

Can you expand on that please? Curious to know how it improves on the other.

Both are excellent on carpets, but I found the normal version isn’t too good at picking up small things like bird seed on hard floors such as tiles or laminate. This was the same with the roller spinning or still.
The duo clean version has a front roller which helps pick up small things.
I was disappointed with the first version I had and sent it back, paid more for the duo clean and it’s excellent.
As I said though, both are excellent on carpet, perhaps if all you have is carpet the normal version will be fine.

From owning many dysons I’ve now converted to shark. Power is just as good and much quieter too.

Excellent, thanks so much. Just one more thing. How does the Duo cordless stick compared to Duo Lift-Away - if you have on that is? It would be really fantastic if it worked as well, but that is a Hell of a big 'if'.

I have the lift away duo, when used as a lift away I assume it performs the same or better than the normal stick??
Might also want to try Shark Sale Site which is Shark themselves but bit more restricted on product lines.
Handy thing is you can do 4 instalments.

e.g. AZ950UKB with a pet upgrade is £220 or £55 a month.
Next cheapest I can find that anywhere is £270 which is on the main Shark site. Why they are undercutting themselves I have no idea. :-)
Costco are doing the smaller model the NZ801UKT (Actually NZ801UKC since it is custom for them) with the pet upgrade for £177 or so.

It's a bog standard air turbo brush £20 for one direct from shark or you can get a compatible one from amazon that does the exact same job for £9.50.
I have a non duoclean from a year or two ago, and was thinking of upgrading to this:
sharkclean.eu/uk/…kt/

Is that something like what you have and would recommend? I have pets so would welcome something that works better -although Shark was an upgrade on both the Dyson and Panasonic vacuums I had earlier.
Is the anti hair thing worth the extra or is a gimmick?
sharksale.co.uk/?pr…KUA

This is the NV601UKB model with pet upgrade for £149.97 on Sharks site. Where does the quoted £157 come from?
