Also because it has the led headlights you can see the shock on the spiders faces as they realise its the end of the road for them which is an added bonus.
Just bought one using the top up £80 get £8 free Amazon offer. So nabbed it for 112!

For anyone who's wondering, the only difference I noticed between this one and the "pet version" (179.99) is the additional attachment for pet hair! Which can be got off eBay for 19.99 direct from Shark or Amazon for 20.

Cracking deal, just ordered one 😃
The best vacuums on the market today
Brilliant deal. Bought mine a few months ago for 199. Brilliant hoover
just purchased, was thinking to go cordless but that is £300+ so this is a good deal.

Is this any good for hard floors?
At the risk of sounded incomparably dull, my Shark vacuum is one of the best purchases I've ever made. Fantastic quality product.
Anybody know how big this box is? Wondering if I can pick up in a local counter and carry home?
Just ordered. Thanks

Not a Hoover

Haha true! I don’t know why but I call all vacuums hoovers!
glasgowgirl15/07/2019 10:25

Also like to know this

I have the shark rocket which is very similar to this and vacs my kitchen floor with no problems although it's not a wooden floor it's more of a cushionfloor lino but it's very good on all floor types. Definitely the best vac I've ever owned.
Was just about to post this after ordering . Convinced my wife to go for corded because usually when you have to replace batteries for most devices that are more expensive than the thing itself. Corded every time for me.
Heat added

Great hoover, better in every aspect than a Dyson. Bought at £150 and never looked back.

I’m deliberating between this and the £199 cordless one but thinking this may be better, (and cheaper!)

But with the cordless one, you can sing "Baby shark, do-do, du-do-do..."
Is that a for, or against?

Well this is true, but I’m thinking with the lift off bit I could still do this?!! :/

I have the NV681 and found it not so good on hard floors, mainly because you’re not supposed to operate the rotating brush and rely on suction alone - you can operate it at your own risk though. It probably performs no worse than a Hoover or Dyson that I’ve had in the past but not better. It's ok with little bits but struggles with larger ones.

On carpet it is amazing how much dust it pulls out and is sometimes a struggle to move it because the suction is so strong. You can open up an air intake at the top to reduce this but reduces its performance of-course. Edge-to-edge cleaning is not particularly good so you will need to use the wand and attachment. Suction is greatly reduced when using the brush head instead of the angled tool.

Odd looking thing but the design has been well thought out.
Back up to £219 now?
The reviews seem to be all over the place. It’s a great vacuum cleaner, it’s terrible on hard floors, it’s no good at picking up pet hairs, and one stated Shark advised this wasn’t meant to be used on hard floors. Aaaargh! I need a new vacuum cleaner for hard floors, carpets and pet hairs, and I don’t know which Shark model to go for. Any advice please?

I did the same. Took my top up 2 hours to come through though as I used a new credit card to buy it.
Just got the extra £8 credit and £10 audible credit so cost me £102. Thanks voted hot.
Cost me ~£85 total Hot
Decide to go for this for my mum. Was able to get £8 off with the top up method but signed up to Audible too late to get £10 extra. Ah well.

how?

Just use an Amex points card and pay partially with it and use code AMEX25OFF at checkout + £10 credit from Audible Signup (already used the £8 for £80 top up on something else)

Superb, my Dyson has seen better days and no way am I paying 500 pounds for a new one.
Just bought this using the Audible and the discount top up - Came to £102.
My DC40`s brush (which i bought second hand) stopped rotating and having a pet at home meant that the hoover wouldn`t be so good.
I saw this one and the 5 year warranty made me bite the bullet. If it is as good as Dyson`s warranty, this would be a steal.

Yes. Had a bisch athlet. Charger gone on it 1 month after warranty and they want 100 quid call out plus parts. You can get one new for 120.
Ordered

Not sure if it's overkill for me since I have a 1bedroom apartment but I guess I really need one,
Investment since I know I buy a cheap £50 one I'm going to be mad at it

Oh I have carpets so that's a big reason for me

I am gonna return this... I think I on reflection I need a proper powered tool/ brush for the stairs and have decided to go for the cordless one... which I seem to have got for £175.65 using the amazon £8 on an £80
top up offer and a random £16.35 voucher weirdly applying itself to this model only

...Also can legitimately sing baby shark now...
