Product Description
The ingenious combination of two innovative technologies brings you the Shark Powered Lift-Away with Duo Clean. Engineered to save you both time and effort whilst delivering the incredible cleaning performance and satisfying results only found in Shark Products The first innovation is Duo Clean Technology. Unlike conventional vacuum cleaners that use one brush bar, DuoClean gives you 2 brush rolls working in unison to remove 3 different types of dirt from your floors and carpets: Large, small and stuck on particles. That’s Triple Particle Cleaning The soft, velvet like brush roll comes in direct contact with all hard floors, removing stuck-on dirt, fine dust and large objects whilst restoring your floors natural lustre. On carpets, the second bristle bar works alongside the first brush roll, cleaning deep into the pile and carpet fibres to remove embedded hair and fine dirt. With DuoClean there’s nowhere for dirt to hide and no more ‘snow ploughing’ and spreading mess, just brilliant cleaning performance in a single pass. Seamlessly go from hard floor to carpet with the dual control conveniently located on the handle. Onboard tools including the Duster/Crevice tool allow for easy access to edges, tight spaces as well as dusting surfaces like tables and shelves. Designed with pet owners in mind the Pet Power Brush removes pet hair from your upholstery and carpets effortlessly. The Upholstery brush is perfect for your sofas and soft Furnishings, teamed with Sharks extended reach for curtains and ceilings, good all round cleaning is finally within your reach. The second innovation, Powered Lift-Away sets you free. Lift-Away means that the main unit can be detached from the wand at the click of a button, turning your upright vacuum into a portable vacuum cleaner. Powered Lift-Away goes one step further delivering power directly to the brush roll head even in Lift Away mode.

Box Contains
Advanced swivel steering allowing you to manoeuvre in, around and under furniture in your home with ease and control

Have the 800UK and it's better than my Dyson animal and also handheld. Only thing poor is cable management which is primitive. Voted hot.

I quite agree. It's better than my Dyson cinetic, although it's filters probably need a change to get it back to how it used to be (yes it has filters in the wheel).

My only gripe with it is the small dirt holder, which is insufficient for a big house. Fantastic suction however and 5yr guarantee.
What is the filtration like in these as the one thing in favour of Dyson is they have good filters
Compared to DC40/V8? (I know V8 is portable, I am interested to know from cleaning perspective, my wifie is OCD about dirt)

The only difference being a power tool?
Is the cordless one as good?
Awesome deal op thanks just ordered one, had a £60 gift card too so even better
It is cheaper if you buy the non true pet model and add the pet brush part as an accessory on the shark website. Then use code style15. Just cost me £186
How does this compare to the Dyson v8?

This seems a lot chunkier so harder to get to places the Dyson can

Here's an unboxing and a demo (not a full test) by Ibaisaic who is a vacuum cleaner obsessive, he thinks it's great.

I bought the NV800 which is without the Tru-pet attachment which is the smaller rotatory head.

I don't think you need the pet attachment as the pet attachment isn't powered and just suction powered rotatory attachment.

You can used the lift away buttons to lift away the actual unit away from the metal giving and powered motorised head. Then detach the powered motorised head from all the connected tubing and connect powered motorised head directly to the lift away unit and very easy to hold the lift away main unit in one hand while doing the stairs. The two other attachments stored on the base unit are useful for nooks and crannies and skirting etc.

I thought I might need the Tru-pet attachment but couldn't justify the cost £30 premium and hence bought third party car cleaning kit £14.99 on eBay which had about 5 items including the Tru-pet look alike attachment and comes in a sturdy plastic box. Much better option than the Tru-pet head and can use that to clean car etc. But havent ever felt the need to use the Tru-pet look alike third party kit which came in the car kit from eBay as I usually have my car professionally cleaned. My wife and child shed hair a lot and the shark nv800 managed very well with it. Would never buy a Dyson again. Have two Dysons at home now lying waste.

This is more better than dyson. See YouTube review. The only thing better in the dyson is cable management. The powered motorised head with dual soft and hard rollers on the shark is miles better than any Dyson head and will literally pull you along forward as you vacuum. Don't push and pull back and fight with the shark just always go forward and turn and come back and you will need less energy instead of fighting with the power of the suction while trying to pull back. Change technique of vacuuming! Very manouverable head on the shark. Don't ever run over any cable including the sharks own cable or it will chew it in seconds! You have been warned!

Brilliant, thank you. I could only find one direct comparison between the two and it was pretty rubbish.

Will buy this through Currys as can get this for £161 with various discounts from Work (and a gift card I have)
