Perfect, been looking for one of these for a while now, thanks OP.

Ordered for pickup later, heat added.

So I've got the upgrade of this (380 I think) and there's a few things to know:

Noisy. Compared to a Henry Hoover this is like a jet taking off.

Heavy. Really heavy, too much for my arthritic mother.

Performs like an absolute beast, better than any Dyson I've used. Will drag you quite physically along the carpet with the rollers going.

So swings and roundabouts I guess.

Ordered online this morning, wife has been to pick it up already.
I also had a £10 voucher from the bike I bought for my daughter yesterday so only £109.99.
The reviews for Shark vacuums on the Argos and Amazon sites are fantastic.

Reviews are good for suction. But this cleaner is really heavy, even though it's mostly made from plastic. I wished someone would bring back a simple light solution like the Hoover Junior, light, good suction, cheap bag system, easy repair when something went wrong. It was the best vacuum cleaner Hoover ever made. Mine has given up after 40 years of use and can't get spares any longer.

Same price at Amazon

Would recommend Shark vacuum cleaners. Opted for the NV680 on offer at Costco last week. Very pleased with the performance and build quality

I have one of these - was £89 at Argos a year or so back. Cleans really well and seems well made but be aware:

-It's pretty heavy.
-Suction is so good it can be difficult to push over carpet.
-Not easy to separate into hand held - parts stick.

I'd still rate it well but be advised that it isn't suitable for the frail or elderly!

Is this the one you can unplug from the main handle and carry about?

Yes - there was shoulder strap to carry it with in mine...
I didn't realise how much I would love a good hoover before I got a Shark!!

& don't forget it comes with a 5yr warranty too!

My Mother had them for years and as a result I did too when I first had a place of my own, but was SHOCKED when using a Dyson for the first time on a floor the Hoover junior had been over - The low wattage and beat-it-really-hard approach wasn't as good as I thought!

Got a dyson small ball vacuum for this price on Sunday!!

Hot

Ordered one and used my £10 voucher offer, somehow got £19 deducted! Even better

Picked up one of these today, first impressions are very good, very powerful and easy to use.

Which won’t be as good as this Shark!

We’ve had a Dyson for along time and it was always good, but having used this Shark tonight the suction is unreal compared to the Dyson, it almost lifts the carpet up. Plus it’s lighter and easier to move about.

Very pleased so far.

Could someone confirm the weight of this as Argos states 7kg but Aol states 6kg, which is it please? Thank you

Nuts. The dyson is tiny and details for over 300 usually! The suction on it feels like it's gonna pull the carpet up it's that good!

So you prefer the Hoover brand to Shark ?

I bought this just under a year ago and I absolutely love and adore it. Never thought you could love and adore a vacuum cleaner but I do ha ha.

I've had so many okish (Dyson) and rubbish vacuum cleaners but never one as good as this.

I was expecting it to lose it's suction power like so many others do after a while but it is still as good as the day I bought it.

I did a first maintenance clean on it yesterday and that was simple and straightforward too. It's great for pet hair as well and I love the way the base detaches from the main body of the cleaner. Makes cleaning the stairs and awkward cramped areas so much easier.

I don't know how good the deal is but I can highly recommend this cleaner!

Which Review says
"Easy to use, with great cleaning72%
Pro: This Shark is good on carpets and great at removing hair and fibres. It's also very versatile and easy to use.
Con: It struggles to remove fine dust from laminate floors."
"Should I buy it?
Yes, particularly if you can find it for a price around the £160 mark. This is a brilliant and versatile upright vacuum cleaner that only just misses out on being a Best Buy."

Can someone confirm if the flash20 code will work on this vacuum as ive just tried and it said not valid???
