4k on a 43" screen offers no real resolution benefit compared to 1080 unless used as a monitor or laptov, the latter being kinda impractical. That said, seems reasonable price for a UMC.

UMC in pants.

Anyone know what the sound quality is like on this?

Sound quality of my sharp 32 is very poor. I would avoid this and spend a bit more.

There is a 49" for £299 after the code - arguably a better deal?

Certainly beneficial if watching 4k from reasonable viewing distance.

Does it claim to have Harman Kardon sound technology like this model? One review says sound is great, another says soundbar would be needed.

I don't think so but Sharp are now low quality TVs and I would recommend spending a bit more to get allot more quality..

Just bought it in store using a £20 off till voucher. Good TV for the money, it's not a £500+ job but is perfect for the man cave
