I've got the 43" version of this amazon.co.uk/s/r…+HD and can't fault it.

My daughters got this Sharp and it doesn't come close to mine on picture or sound quality, like nowhere near!

I'd check out some of the Hisense sets that have been posted on here recently.

I wouldn't really consider a Sharp unless it was 32" or under and very cheap....

Considering as my folks got a 3d sharp a few years ago and picture quality on that was fantastic. Although as I'm looking to replace a bordering on antique sony bravia "720p 40" with watermarksan annoying whitespot and bezels inches thick" I'm sure a lot of modern tellys would seem a massive improvement

I purchased the very model from Tesco back in December 2016 when it was on offer. It went down a few weeks ago. Was told it is a common fault on this model which has now been rectified. They did change it for me finally but they first tried to offer me a refund. I would not use this as a main use TV as it is not the best of quality and take time coming on but gives no indication that it is turning on.

There are 2 types of 'Sharp' TV's these days.
The high end models, which are manufactured by Sharp and are very good.
The low end models (like this) are just rebranded sets made by the likes of Vestel, and are no better than any of the cheapo sets you find in supermarkets.

Still better than old Sony and Lg 1080p TV which people keep posting here .

For £329 it's a lot of bang for your buck but personally I'd go for a Hisense. I replaced my Sharp 40in with a Hisense 49in from ao.com for £339 and it's surprised me how much quality they've packed in.

I paid £229 for this at the end of January as an amazon lightening deal.

I was worried about the quality after seeing other finlux sets on display on currys but i needn't have, It's identical to my panasonic in the living room and it's looking great up on the wall, i'm really picky about sound but this is perfect for my kitchen and no distortion and picture quality is great.

As for the sharps i wouldn't touch them, I work in tesco and walk past the display tv's multiple times a day, whilst the sound is off, the grainy picture is enough to put anyone off.
