I would buy it but I can't buy instore yet want a 5 yr gtee. is there anything else that's recommended for around this price range? I'm after a smart TV 48" ish up to £600 but getting baffled now by all the blurb. thanks

Nice deal, sure to be some great bargains on big TVs as they start to push 4k tv's

I have one of these, and other than a WiFi delay and odd boot sequence they are very good

I wouldn't class this as a bargain, I'm pretty sure this is a Vestel re-badge. Basically the same as the Bush's, Technika, ISIS, Polaroid TV's.

Something like is would be a better bet: prcdirect.co.uk/pro…51K

The above is a proper Sharp made TV and slightly cheaper. The glasses are Active but there are none included so you'll have to buy your own.

how do you find out whether a tv is a re-badge or not? So the older model is better than the newer and cheaper!

Exactly!

The LC50LE761K is definitely a Vestel re-badge, you can tell by the rear connections and how they're laid out.

The LC50LE751K, the older model is a proper sharp made TV that will use a decent (minimum 100hz native) panel with Active 3D. If i was buying, i'd go for this one, its far superior than the newer model especially when it comes to build quality.

Don't even touch this tv. Just had one last week. The Dongle for wireless internet covers both usb sockets. There is a fault with the system by a delay in changing from one port to another and watched a film from usb and the screen went silver like the frame with ghosting of the picture and no sound. Optical is Spdif connection only. Sent back in a hurry

Do Not purchase any SHARP TV. I have one and 14 months and now have panel fault. Sharp will not repair as cost more expensive than TV. Now trying route The Sales and Goods Act 1979. Wish me good luck
