There was also a Sharp bluray player I think it was £175 I presume they were trying to push sales of that. From a quick google it's 720p twenga.co.uk/pri…7-0

Haha a bit of that as well! Glad I don't need to take a photo now as I have hotukdeals unnecessary expiring rage!

There was no indication that it was a store only deal. There wasn't even a reduced sign.

Exactly who expires these deals and especially without a reason. If a reason was stated then we would understand, without a reason makes me wanna hit the bottle! (again)

Any idea how to un expire? It is so frustrating to go to the effort of taking photos and posting a deal which you genuinely think people would benefit from just to have it expired. Anyway there were about 5 in the Gateshead Metro Centre store.

Thats a shame it's annoying that these deals never seem to be nationwide it's really random!

wrong

not in my local Asda (always look in electrical aisle every visit) - why can't i ever find this!

I am going to Asda in about an hour - and will check the Govan one for it.

I may be wrong, but i think this is a windup!!

Reason?

The price ticket on the shelving is usually UNDER the actual item, not on top, the shelf above is empty.

The label is also suspiciously blurred!

You have far to much time on your hands Sherlock.

Think you have hit the nail on the head. Having spent too much time in Asda's lately (easter egg city) . I seem to remember the label being below the item. So the £100 label is actually for whatever is on the empty shelf and not the TV below. (Unless I am very much mistaken).

Good spot

The tv was on both shelves so the label was technically in the middle! Photos are rubbish I know! But I was worried that I may have been suspiciously looking like a shoplifter! Having said that the box was rather big (cube) and it would of been awkward enough carrying to the till!

Some people on here nowadays want their bottoms wiped for them...
so the photo won't worry David Bailey but you have the information on a potential deal - If you want one of these tellys PHONE Asda and ask. Jeez!

Can see clearer here getfreethings.co.uk/Ima…JPG

Great price, no, fantastic price! Just wish everyone would stop shooting people down as soon as they post a deal these days. It's insane. People take time and effort to post it - they really don't have to do it. They do it to be kind and help out others. Yes occasionally there is a deal which is store specific, or very rarely one is made up, but on the whole, people need to learn to trust others here and give them a chance.

Trust and kindness is what forms the very basis of a website / forum like HUKD. We never had these problems 18 months ago. As someone else said, people want more and more and usually give very little. This especially rings true with people asking for reciepts to be posted every min - so frustrating sometimes when the poster will have 500+ posts and clearly isn't making it up.

If you are in need of a 20" LCD TV for £100, then all you have to do is ring your local ASDA store, or hell even get off your backside and take a trip down there!

If I am that bothered for a deal I will make an effort to go and get it - otherwise you can't be surprised when someone else gets it. Even if this isn't a national deal (which it probs is) it's a great price.

Thanks for posting lewiso. Hope people see where I am coming from.......

Feckin bargain

Thanks can't agree with you more although I may be a little biased as this is my post.

I've been a member of hotukdeals for a good few years and have benefitted from many deals in the past and feel only right that if I should find a bargain that I share it. I also admit that I sometimes find these supermarket deals a pain as a lot of them can be store specific not pointing any fingers Tesco.. But there were at least 5 of these in stock and I have had luck with Asda deals in the past so have no reason to believe that these wont be available elsewhere.

I hope someone who wants one finds one in their local store.

Good luck.

Exactly lewiso. It also comes down to using some common sense. Saving £150 on a tv like this - great. Saving 2p on a can of baked beans.....and then 3p on a can of soup.....those posts don't need to clog up HUKD really. I know it's all relevant to the market price and anything below it is a "bargain" but if people were just a bit realistic....

I can confirm deal is genuine.I phoned Gateshead Metrocentre store.(24 Hr store) Staff member thought they were £200 but got someone to check and he confirmed that they have been reduced further to £100 and only two left ! Great deal & have just sent hubby to buy one( 10 mile journey). Amazon uk are selling for £329 with good reviews. Have been on the look out for a cheap lcd for recently refitted kitchen. Thank you!
