Hello people.
I popped into ASDA after work today and spotted this Full HD 32" TV with LED backlight for just £399.99. I have just checked the Asda Direct website and it's not on there, so it is in-store only.
The TV also features built-in freeview and 100Hz.

It's cheaper than play.com by £50 as well.
I've only just upgraded my TV about two months ago, but would of definitely bought this if I hadn't.

Just to let you all know, that there was a big stack of them as well. At least 15.

sure it was £397 in Asda Minworth and they had a fair few

not sure how the two compare mind you but mine is great !!

You just beat me to it.Saw it at 2am in Asda Chatham (Got a cold and cant sleep so became one of those sad through the night shoppers haha) and is £399 and there was about 10 of them i think.

I actually got the 26inch version arrive friday for the bedroom as i was impressed with a friends Aquos but havent had time yet to play around with it but got that for £299 delivered so prices are dropping!

not sure it's the same model.the Sharp Aquos 32LE320E has a white back check the sharp website the one in asda has a black back.it is 1080p and led but there is no mention of 100hz on the box

I have a sharp aquos full hd lcd and i must say they are a really nice telly, i havent got the led one tho voted hot as i think somehow the picture quality is better on the aquos than ne other lcd iv seen so im sure that the quality will be the same on there leds and at a good price

Nice find OP. Voted Hot.

If you're in market for LED TV then have a look at this as well hotukdeals.com/dea…695

Now this is a tricky one because i believe most of the newer versions have a white back with a glossy black front (The older ones tended to be all black with black stand) so could be an old batch but from what i can see it looks like at some point they gave the cover a makeover but the inners are the same.

The 100hz thing i have to admit i have had problems with. The side i bought mine from said it was 100hz 26 inch which i was happy about as the motion would be smoother but the sharp site said it wasnt. In the end i had 2 sites saying it was 100hz,3 sites saying it was 50hz and one saying it was 60hz!!!! It is very confusing but all i can say is the 26 inch version is great and if you go to currys/pc world they have the 32 inch on show so go have a look.I did find the large versions pucture clarity exceptional!

Is Sharp a British brand?

I don't think it is. It's quite a well known brand though

Its a Japanese multinational corporation.Been around years and has always been one of the main brand names imho along with the likes of pioneer, panasonic, sony etc

IF you have a Sharp outlet the 37" version is only 47 quid more!

No freeview HD?

Id be very cautious about this, its not a real Sharp, the Sharp, Toshiba, Hitachi, Sanyo and Philips stuff sold in Asda is just sold under licence using their names, its actually a cheap and nasty Vestel from turkey with a Sharp badge on the front. At least the Philips stuff in Asda says on the label its made under licence for Asda stores.

this is actually the Sharp 32LE210E model in Asda only just released and has a black panel at the back and a slightly different remote.

it also has a USB PVR, I think the 32LE320E only has playback

don't know if its Freeview HD

apparently you have to look for DVB-T2 for Freeview HD for the UK so no idea if they are Freeview HD or not

looked at the ones in Asda today - made in Taiwan - so maybe genuine Sharp - no mention of exclusive to Asda
