Not sure if national though.

Kids shouldn't have a new 40" tv in their bedroom. A sharp TV is not a free babysitter or parent.

Not to mention of course that TV nowadays has many wrong 'uns on it the I would never want in my children's room. Perhaps op doesn't mind the invasion of his child's private space by perverts.

Are you mental? you shouldn't put a TV in the kids room, why shouldn't kids watch tv. Your not a bad parent letting your kids watch TV their are educational programs and cartoons for them. Victorian parents spring to mind with you.

Our oldest kid is 29 (we had to use both sets of fingers and toes to work it out). I'm sure he'd love a 40" in his bedroom, but he'll have to make do with something we can post to where he lives now. Pretty sure the 18 and 19 year olds would love to have them in their bedrooms as well but there's only so much luggage one can stick in the boot when making the run to uni so they won't be getting one. I'll make sure the 8 year old knows you say he can't have one but I doubt he'll care as he's the only one of them who doesn't watch TV

This site is diabolical. It used to be full of people that spotted, found and hunted deals for bargain prices.

Now,It's opinionated, self righteous keyboard warriors that fancy upsetting other people because their life is crap.

Sad.

Thing is, don't let them upset you.

Any opinions of whether it's a good TV or not?

Or just more lifestyle judgements?

Your spelling insinuates you probably had a tv in your room as a child. You sorta prove their point if this is the case.

Shock horror, I had a tv in my bedroom when I was in my teens in the 1980s... how about that Victorian dad.

What is even worse my parents even allowed me to hook up my Commodore 64 to it, and I even had a little midi system to listen to music on to.....and surprisingly many a school friend also had a computer, tv and some form of stereo in their bedroom to.

That was 30 years ago. Many my age have children that are teens, hardly think they hold victorian values.

links to the homepage.
would have gone for it at the instore price if it was online.

Have an interest in 'teens' do you? I don't think this site is the correct place to share your obsessions.

I would not touch Sharp TV.

I have a 60 inch Sharp TV for 2 and half years. It has been trouble from the start. I am in the process trying to get John Lewis to replace it with a brand new TV from a different maker.

Flat TV just do not seems as reliable as the old type Sony CRT TV. My Sony flat TV failed me at 15 months. The Sharp TV failed me from day 1.

I trust Panasonic and LG TVs more regarding reliability, and I will only want TVs with extensive warranty such as 5 years from John Lewis.

We got the Sharp 60" TV that was on here about 2-3 years ago as a hot deal, paid around £699. Hasn't given us any trouble at all.

250 degrees, anyone else seen one yet?

I am with him too, stop talking rubbish

Please keep post on TOPIC!
The post is about the price of a TV!

I had a TV in my bedroom too. Used to switch it on quietly & play championship manager long into the night after everyone else was sleeping.
And then struggle to wake up for school.

That and the fact that my kids spend all their spare time in front of their tablet, downstairs TV, phone, Wii/xbone or family laptop is the reason why I wont be sticking TV's in their rooms.

So, how many deals you spotted and hunted?

A stack of them in silverburn.

And here I was coming on here to look for comments on how good this TV was.
At least now I know how to bring up my children - in a Victorian workhouse, but with their own TV

Ok....so now we know how to bring up our children and we have good advice.
Does anyone know if this is national so I can get one for my boys room please? ;-)
