Has it got WiFi? Thanks

I'm sure it does. I bought a 49inch Sharp tv for £200 3 years ago, that one has WiFi too. I won't buy Sharp ever again, it's super slow, the colors are just meh. The only good thing is the support of video files, x265 works as well. If you add another 50 quid you can get a 43 inch Toshiba TV from ao.com it's slightly better and it's 4k.
Good price, i had one of these recently, sound is ok, but blacks are more a grayish colour and the settings were limited, i suspect it was the backlight seeping around the edges but you couldn't adjust the back light, so it went back
Wifi via cable.
HD. Not 4k

Uh, it doesn't make sense in what you wrote, you managed to get a 49" 3(!) years ago for £200, this is a 40(-9" on yours) for £199 but you're giving advice to someone to pay another £50 for a 'slightly' better one? So, do prices of tvs go up regularly for you then? :/ In the meantime, in the real world, they should go down, or technology gets better for our money...

Wifi via cable.HD. Not 4k

4k on a 40inch TV is pointless unless you plan to sit within 2 feet.

Lol @ WiFi via cable

I bought it on black Friday. The normal price was £300.Maybe it didn't sell well, that's why they dropped the price. My argument is that I personally won't buy Sharp tv ever again. And yes, I would rather add another 50 quid just to have a better TV. I mean, who buys full HD TV nowadays, when like you said, technology gets better for our money...
