Thought this was a good deal when looking for a 32" tv with FREEVIEW HD integrated. this is £100 cheaper than PCWorld and Currys.

John Lewis have a Sharp LC32CT2 very similar for £549 so a price match might be possible johnlewis.com/230…spx

Good find! A decent panel which is even better thanks to the DivX option.

good price with freeview HD

VERY tempted especially as its got Freeciew HD and is 1080p...hmmmmmmm

I don't think it plays video over usb.

From Sharps website:

USB media player for Video / Photo / Music:: no/yes/yes
Player for Divx HD / DivX: no/no

yep, just had a look too, ur right, the spec on dixons is wrong..

Just received the TV, Freeview HD is good and xbox in HD is superb, lots better than the 32" 720p TV i just tested it against. Was tempted to cancel in light of the Samsung offer but after checking out the XBOX and watching a bit of the Tennis in HD I think I will keep it.

Also there were some negative reviews on the sound, which in my opinion isnt bad at all

It's got 1080p and Freeview HD! How is this not hotter?

Ur right, I have had another look around and have not found anything near this price, but hey ho :whistling:

Ordered - But before i did went to see if any other retailer would price match in store, and i got laughed out of everywhere i went.

Free delivery and i mine arrives tomorrow.

. Ordered, and mine arrives tomorrow.I would have posted this one had i been faster.

Just brought one of these, haven't seen a 32" TV full HD with HD freeview!! Think this is by far the best spec I have seen in this price range

Heat Added!

What are the opinions of the people who purchased this?

So has anyone tested the divx playback? I might cancel my order if it does not play though everywhere except the sharp website says it does.

bothered

Bad. It doesn't have any.

Forgive me, but does the divx thing really matter? Hope not, I've just bought one...if the quidco converts this will be a c.£320 bargain!

can you just send it back once youve tried it.....if you dont like it that is???

I'm assuming as its mis-advertised you can.
Maybe there will be a firmware upgrade/hack (like for the LGxxLH series) I'm sure it prob has capabilities to??
wishful thinking really I know!

Anyway it is true this is still a good deal regardless !!
