Sure, it's only HD Ready, but @ £129.99 for a branded 32" TV that's quite thin and attractive, it's a steal. It's as cheap as a decent 21" computer monitor and would be perfect as a bedroom TV.

It was in my local Asda this evening (Dundee Kirkton), so the usual disclaimers apply. They did have about a dozen of them, so it's hopeful it's national, but obviously I can't guarantee it.

It can play Div-X etc. from USB stick too, which is good at this price.

I won't bloat out the post details, but point you towards the manufacturer's page here:

sharp.co.uk/cps…111

Hope it's of benefit to someone.

At this price, you can make a 64" video-wall for about £520 like this:

That's cheaper than 5 Jamie Oliver books.

NOW can us poor folks have big TVs without being judged by a Multi Millionaire?

Thought my opening 5 words made that abundantly clear...

1080p is kinda wasted on a 32" screen anyway

Unless you sit close enough.

Yeah, really bloody close. If I ever hook the laptop up to the TV I have to put it in 768p mode or all the writing is far too small to read

So you should change the font size not the screen res! Doh!

Now that really is super cheap...

None in Asda Washington or Asda Team Valley

Resolution aside, Sharp use very poor quality components*, my 1080 Aquos 42" failed after about 14 months, luckily I'd paid for the extended warranty (for hassle free replacement, I know you can fight your corner without). I went with Samsung, they just work.

*Words of the TV repair company I phoned up to see if they'd fixed it, only to find out it was in the skip.

its not a Sharp its made by Vestel and rebadged , Sharp make there own tv's over 46" themselves in Japan anything under is just a rebadge cheapie
