They had a 3 of these left in my local asda tonight (Barrow-in-Furness) marked down to £249. This is over £100 cheaper than I can find anywhere online. Seems a great price for a good brand and we all know how hard it is to find a decent 26" LCD without breaking the bank as all discounts are usually on the more common 32" size

Specifications for the Sharp LC26SA1E 26 inch LCD are:
Resolution - 1366 x 768
Contrast - 1200:1
Brightness - 450 cd/m2
Viewing Angle 176 Degrees
Nicam Stereo
2 x 10 Watts

Connections:
1 x HDMI
2 x Scart
Composite
S-Video
PC Input

The Good: A lot of TV for your money
The Bad: Only one HDMI

I will, nothing yet. Only phoned a couple so far, the customer service is shocking! spending ages waiting just for someone to answer then it's an effort to get them to look

Adidas Addict - what time did you get one?
I just called Barrow-in-Furness and they said they don't have any...

At 6pm they had them by the door on the end of an isle, not by the other TV's, there were some 32" too.

Still can't find any. Just spoke to one store who were the most useful and said about 6+ months ago they did stock a Sharp 26" but it was discontinued and they no longer sell Sharp. Most stores were telling me they don't sell Sharp, so this seems true.

I can only assume Barrow in Furness had some left over and are selling cheap to get them out the way.

Well known screen problems with the Sharp SA range

Turns itself off/on and when you switch on manually comes on for a second and then off again.

Sharp are aware but are doing jack about it apart from reducing the prices across the range.

Also heard that parts are in such demand they have run out! but not sure how this could be the case with such a brand.

Colchester store had some as of last night.
