Amazed how this deal is getting hot and my £200 Toshiba full HD and Alexa compatible reduced to £152 was voted cold. Same seller too...the only difference, the box was damaged. Not saying this is a bad price by the way.

No stock left. Type Toshiba full hd and you will see it, expired 13 days ago. Same TV now £199 with Richer Sounds and the benefit of 6 years warranty, that deal is still active.

This is probably why it was cold as frustration of buyers who couldn't get stock because of the limited availability perhaps?

More like after a few who have no clue or did not even read the deal voted cold, the rest of the crowd follows. Also, you post a deal for 32 inch and they vote cold because for £20-30 you can get a bigger one. Some don't understand that if you want 32 inch, 40 inch for the same price is not necessarily a better deal. But is true, some are voting cold because they can't get it or not available in the area where they live, which in my opinion is stupid.

You can't really make a difference in between 720p and full hd at a 32 inch TV, but I definetely agree you can get a full hd for almost the same price. With regards to the size, if I am after a 32 inch TV, I do not care the 40 inch is cheaper, I want 32. Bigger does not means better. In my case, the space in the spare bedroom is limited and will not accommodate a bigger tv.

It was a really good deal. I was looking for a 32 inch full HD for months, so I knew the prices and what was available. That one was my first choice, but in the meantime I've got a JVC full hd in damaged box for £152, the Toshiba was not available for that price at that time. When I posted the Toshiba deal, I've posted a JVC too, from Currys eBay, that had everything in it, 32 inch, full hd, smart, and DVD integrated, so no cables to mess about, just perfect for kids/spare room. The deal was for about £175, you may still find it on HUKD. That one was freezing cold, do not know why, again, a few voting cold and the crowd follows. Stupid reasons, such ad for £10 extra, you get a bigger one, but I do not need a bigger one. Also, because it is a Vestel (the Toshiba is Vestel too) but my old Vestel lasted 9 years, while my Sony lasted only 7. The deal was good for those looking for a cheap and small TV in a spare room, not for your main TV....

He does have a reasonable point though. There are some who just vote with the assumption the OP has disregarded larger sizes (even if its a specific requirement at 32"). We all know that large sizes are standard now, so there is a weird price structure between about 32-42 where there isnt always that much difference. Anyway why do TV debates get so heated

:))) it was a lesson for me, as sometimes I buy things based on how people vote:)
Bought 40” 1080p Sharp from Tesco Black Friday for the bedroom @ £179 and must say how impressed I am with the picture quality/colours etc and Netflix/YouTube functionality. It too has Harmon Kardon speakers which don’t seem to distort and in fact sound clearer as you crank it up. Cant say pic will be same but 720p on 32” should be decent still for regular tv viewing.
I got this tv and have to say, I’ve been quite impressed. Colours are vibrant and sound quality is really good. I’m not an expert and it’s only for our kitchen BUT you won’t be disappointed for this price

Recently bought a Toshiba TV with Alexa compatibility. Connecting the two together appears to be impossible. The app you have to use is a joke.

I don't have a clue how it works, as I got the JVC non compatible with Alexa. Given the fact I ended up with 3 Alexa devices over X-mas, I would have loved to try the Toshiba, too bad it does not work. I've got a Sonoff Bridge, £5 from Dresslily, I am planning to try to link this with the TV to make it Alexa enabled...

it depends on the distance you watch from and your attention to detail, but I can say for sure that i can definitely see the difference between 720p and 1080p... I can tell on my 10' tablet, my 15' laptop and my 40' tv (unsure about my 5' phone)

If I remember that was oos after 5mins , but yes I am baffled at this too, given the damaged box ones are there every other day and this is nothing special. Hey the one I posted was £10 cheaper that this and same spec. S

I still can't understand people voting cold on the basis the item is OOS. People put effort in looking for deals, they can't just keep checking all the time.

To be honest I get it in most cases like the non existent wild goose chase argos deals and refurbished pc etc that will never be back in stock. Stuff that comes and goes OOS and in stock is ok but like I said this place is nuts!
Just purchased the sharp lc32chg4041k from Costco for £155 Inc the vat. This set seems to be 1080p. We'll it says 1080p during playback. Harman kardon speakers too
